So I have two cysts on my balls that are kind of annoying me, and I'm wondering how I can get rid of them. Before anybody thinks the worst, these are not cancerous or related to any type of STD, and yes I know this because I was checked. I shave my balls and every so often I get these cysts that are kind of like pimples. I want to avoid a visit to the doctor, so anybody know how to get rid of these? I heard putting hot water on them with a paper towel can work, but so far nothing.

use whatever you'd use on a pimple: toothpaste, acne spot treatment, etc. this will dry them out
I also heard warm water helps, but not sure how. -

Well...you could not shave your balls. That would probably help get rid of the ingrown hairs... -

On the needle, tweezers and self-surgery site, not down your throat, that is. -

The skin on the testes rivals as probably the most sensitive on the body.

What's happening is called sterile abeceses. See also ingrown hairs. The hair is getting twisted back down below the skin and the sebascus glands are now feeding into a closed sack. This is becuase after you shaved the skin closed back over the opening for the hair shaft.
Warm water helps because it softens both the skin and the hair. Allowing for easier removal and drainage and it just feels nice.
