    I rarely go to the quarter during decadence after a traumatic first time years ago but I also know that TONS of guys flock to the city for the event. Here's a place to post your plans and stuff and discuss things. Hopefully the other NOLAgays will pitch in ideas and help answer any questions you visiting folks have icon_biggrin.gif

    I had to look it up to figure out what it was honestly!

    is it like gay pride but for new orleans? or just the quarter? I'm still kinda confused

    Sort of but then again not. It's less family-friendly than most pride events. Then again, I'm not too fluent in e details. Best allow others to explain. I just started the thread as a place of discussion

    Starting at the French Quarter, its nothing like the rest of the South. EXTREMELY liberal, very inclusive, etc. Now, the further out you go from that epicenter, the more like the rest of the South it gets.

    Unfortunately i cannot afford to live where i'd like to. I live in what was (half a century ago) a little fishing village about four miles from the Quarter (as the crow flies). Its hardly a gay mecca but its also not Kenner either, lol.
