"Because the data often reveal very early emerging traits in prehomosexuals, children who show pronounced sex-atypical behaviors may have more of a genetic loading to their homosexuality, whereas gay adults who were sex-typical as children might trace their homosexuality more directly to particular childhood experiences."
When I was little I didn't play with GI Joe, trucks, cars, army. And I didn't play with girls, dolls, makeup. I was sort of neutral. I drew shapes, built with blocks, biked, had fights with the neighborhood black kids because they picked on my for being a different race. I guess that is why I'm bisexual rather than only gay. I bet there are a lot of guys that played army though and became gay. I think they are talking about the extremes in the article.
