    Where do they go?

    Wonder no more!!

It is a known fact that the penguin is a very ritualistic bird which lives an extremely ordered and complex life. The penguin is very committed to its family and will mate for life, as well as maintain a form of compassionate contact with its offspring throughout its life.

If a penguin is found dead on the ice surface, other members of the family and social circle have been known to dig holes in the ice, using their vestigial wings and beaks, until the hole is deep enough for the dead bird to be rolled into, and buried.

The male penguins then gather in a circle around the fresh grave and sing:

    "Freeze a jolly good fellow."
    "Freeze a jolly good fellow."

Then, they kick him in the ice hole.

    I love Penguins icon_smile.gif

They are smart birds. I may get one. I need to move to Ohio since they have relaxed laws on exotic pets.

If you decide to get a pet penguin, make sure you have the proper equipment for handling them, namely a monocle and umbrella.

Umm excuse me? If anything, we just tightened the exotic animal law! After that freakish incident last year it was a big deal here.

I think some of them may be in my area. One time my mom's coworker said she came home and her son was upstairs while she was in the kitchen. She eventually started to hear running water and after a minute it was still running so she went upstairs and her son had a penguin in the bathtub...as in a live penguin from his field trip that day....

Apparently has a history of doing crazy things like this

This actually happened in Connecticut, but I wouldn't doubt that he's a hardcore Pens fan

Maybe they dunk their dead so their predators can't eat them. Not for emotional reasons, but to starve out the predator.

I was getting excited to google "penguins singing" before I read the joke.icon_mad.gif
