Just like the greatest food ever. Here's to the humble egg.

The latest medical research asserts that eggs don't negatively impact cholesterol levels as previously thought.
I would eat eggs daily if I had my own chicken coop where the chickens are free to roam and get to touch the actual earth surface. I'm not into commercially produced eggs. The chickens are treated worst than shit.

bhp91126 saidJust made myself a dozen hard-boiled eggs that I'll take with me to lunch over the next couple of days.
homastj saidhow???? i'm stuffed after like two. I find them incredibly filling and can't eat very many (which sucks cause they are only 6g of protein per egg)
Ariodante saidI used to do that... hmm... I wonder if you can get the same quality protein from cooking eggs on a double boiler on low heat, killing the bacteria?homastj saidhow???? i'm stuffed after like two. 3-4 raw in my protein shake in the morning, same thing at night.

3-4 raw in my protein shake in the morning, same thing at night. I just made some whole wheat pasta and after it was cooked and still hot I cracked a couple raw eggs in there and it gets to the consistency of like a thick gooey sauce.

Myth.
Eat lots of almonds, oatmeal, olive oil, and take fish oil capsules.
Drink lots of water.
Also, do lots of cardio (10-15min/day) at least until you break a good sweat, get your heart rate up to "target".
You should be able to eat as many as you want and not have a problem.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biotin_deficiency
"...deficiencies can be caused by consuming raw egg whites over a period of months to years. Egg whites contain high levels of avidin, a protein that binds biotin strongly. When cooked, avidin is partially denatured and becomes somewhat non-toxic. A recent study[1] found that activity in fried, poached and boiled (2 min) egg white was 33, 71 and 40% of the activity in raw egg white respectively."
