Manskin

A friend of mine once told me that our dirty elbows and knees were not signs of our lack of a rough loo-fa in our needed shower, but “MAN SKIN!”(he told me this with his chest puffed up in a deep voice).

So I walked happily away with my darker skinned toned elbows and knees with pride, knowing that I was not dirty, but just had manskin.

Does anyone wear this with pride or are you just another dirty “kid” like me?

It has nothing to do with being manly and everything to do with personal hygiene. I would hardly call an aversion to simply cleaning the dirt off an extremity a badge of honor.

I have NEVER heard of these areas called "manskin." LOL! Thanks for giving me a laugh so early in the morning. I have to agree with RBY, having "manskin" is personal hygiene gone awry. Unless you're a mechanic, gardener or other type of blue collar worker, your knees and elbows shouldn't be that color.

That's nothing but dirt. Now go wash it off, and don't forget behind your ears.

"Man-crust" maybe? Imagine the man who is lucky to have both "man-skin" and "man-crust"...

    — Manskin

No I do not believe in it, it was just a funny idea my friend made up(so yeah...bullshit).
No I am not a twelve year old kid seeking advice on my cleaning techniques, rather I am curious on whether people have any other names or lame ass excuses for this skin malady that is striking dirty children everywhere, such as the one a friend of mine invented,“manskin.”
And sadly to the curious men who thought that “manskin” was a another name to the “skin that gets cut off”—it was just manskin(dirty skin).

Yeah, shit happens and that was fun.

seeing as how the_kid nows says he made it all up, we can all breathe a bit easier.

...next time he starts a topic he'll probably get fewer responses.
