    I should expand on "provisional" - I believe it means that they will try a new liturgy, and then tinker with it - NOT that they might go back on it. Liturgies take a while to develop, try, edit... But it's happening!

    I found this church when I was a teenager. (I didn't really like the church my family went to, so I got on my bike and tried out all the others I could find until I found a progressive, thinking man's church). I still go there. This was the first place I'd ever seen gay clergy (and I found out they'd had openly gay clergy going back to the 1940's in my church). In 2003 the Episcoopal church started electing openly gay bishops. Here is today's news coming out of the convention and it is all good. My s.o. and I will plan to tie the knot there someday.
