I'm probably the only person here looking forward to discus. (I know but it was my sport). Also women's boxing. (I've gotten my ass kicked enough times sparring with women to know it's legit). Wrestling, track and field. I have to admit I was a little freaked out by the 15 year old girl gymnasts at the Olympic trials who were more muscular than me. I'm a Ryan Lochte fan after that Gillette commercial that panned his body from head to toe.

I want to see them all, but specifically I want to see if USA basketball can stay on top, can the women's soccer team step up after a disappointing World Cup final, and if Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt can have more great performances, and to see which underdogs can step up.

    Haha, you should be! icon_twisted.gif

I cannot begin to tell you how this is a dream come true for me. I've been dying to go to the Olympics for years! I was too young for Seoul '88. I wasn't able to go to the Olympics in Barcelona '92 because my family left Spain just two months before the games. I wasn't able to go to Atlanta '96 because my parents went through some financial problems. Sydney '00 was during the first week of school. Athens '04 was during orientation of my first week of college. I couldn't afford Beijing '08 on my own. However, I got it this time for London '12, so YES!

LOL! I almost interpret that as an invitation of seeing your boo-tay (I'm sure it's very nice!). However, I sure hope the view from my seats will be generous. I have awesome binoculars for the occasion anyway.
