    Out west one culls praire dogs from pastures so horses don't break legs. This sort of work is typically done with high-speed rifles such as the 22-250 Remington, 220 Swift or even 223 Remington.



    Occsionally someone gets really cranked up and uses something like a 300 RUM.

    I often found Reaper videos to be mildly amusing. That is not the case in watching a little prairie dog being blown to smithereens.

    I see you choose the alternative. That is a horse stepping in the prairie dogs mound, breaking a leg, and having to be blown away with yet another cartridge due to ingnorance of weiners.

    Ugly, but necessary if you run livestock.

    It's much like seeing the packaged meats at the supermarket. The hoof to display case process is pretty ugly.
