I actually just discovered this band on VH1 a few months back, and it was the "Dog Days Are Over," video that got me so hooked until this day. Does anyone else have any other favorite FM videos or tracks?

I discovered them last year, though my lesbian drag king friends. Months before a girl sang "Dog Days Are Over" on "The Voice" the same year. Not a bad rendition I might add.

Here is one of her performances of it:
    Nicci Martinez
    So left field. /facepalm*

I'm going to post some choreography to this video since a couple of people asked...it's my favorite Florence and the Machine song.

    Well she's huge in Europe.
My favourite would probably be "Shake it out"

Florence is incredible. I was lucky enough to see her play a gig in London (all the tickets were sold within 10 minutes). She had an amazing voice and her music is just entrancing. Currently, she's sitting at the number 1 spot on the UK itunes with the Calvin Harris remix of her latest single 'Spectrum'.

    She's spectacular.

"Never Let Me Go" and "Shake It Out," to me, were pretty huge hits. I do love the fact that she is not as known as say a Foster or Rejects, it just seems like the best ones are ones that no one else knows about.

Anyone hear her cover of "Take Care" by Drake. It blows the original out of the water.

I don't get it! I HATE "Dark Days Are Over" with a passion -- and I rarely feel that way about any song. Every time it comes on the radio I have to change the station. It's kind of soured me from listening to her voice on any song.

You can skip to 3:00 if you don't want to watch her speaking, but it explains some of her writing and influences!

Another great song (not mentioned yet) is this one:

Works wonders when you want to let it all out, haha.

Florence is amazinggggg! She has a newish cover out of Addicted to Love. I also love, and these are just some of my favorite artists from my 8,087 songs:
St. Vincent, Andrew Bird, LP, Cold War Kids, Little Comets, Edward Sharp and a shit ton more haha. If you like Florence, check out st. Vincent. She's definitely different, but she has some similarities. And she's AWESOME live.
