- What are your thoughts on Ray as a character? I find him to be intelligent but unmotivated. Would you take a chance on a guy you potentially really cared for and enjoyed being with after finding out that he wasn't at a point in his life where he had any money/success/great place/great car etc, and didn't know what he wanted to do with his life yet? Are those things deal breakers for you? Why/why not?
- I thought the episode 'Boys' was written in an oddly disjointed but somewhat subdued theatrical tone, almost like Waiting For Godot- light. I later found out that the show had a guest director that day. Was kind of unsettling at first, but i re-watched it and enjoyed the honesty that was portrayed. Booth's emotionally vulnerable revelation resonated with a rare authenticity.
- Jessa. I love her character, so bold, daring, open, non-judgemental, insightful into the characters of others, yet tragically not so much to herself. I'd really like to see some evolution in her life and self-awareness and life motivation at some point, she shows an unbridled potential IMO =]
- The episode 'Another Mans Trash' was really hard to swallow as believable at first blush, as Hanna, although very charming and unwittingly funny, is a physically average, slightly plump and plain looking girl on the show who manages to seduce these very attractive men. The camel's back almost broke when she pulled the impromptu sexscapde with the gorgeous doctor, but, upon further reflection, he was clearly lonely and she added a spark of temporary colour to his otherwise clinically sterile monochrome life- and once I realised this, it immediately made complete and utter sense, but i slightly detested that this had to be rationalised in the first place, and the reasons as to why.
