For the dads here on RealJock, what do your kids call you? I guess I should gear this question towards men who have raised their children in a same-sex houshold. I assume your kids don't call both of you "dad" because that would raise confusion as to which dad your kids are talking to. How did you resolve this?

I was partnered when my kids were ages 10-18. They called me "Dad" and they called my partner "Jeff", which of course was his name.

My kids call me "Dad" and my partner by his first name. I am the biological father. We know another couple in a similar situation and also call their biological father "dad" and his partner by his first name.

I have known a couple which adopted their child. They child refered to them by 2 names for a father, I believe it was daddy and papa.

I have some friends, a gay couple and a lesbian couple, who got together and produced a set of triplets.

They call the biological parents mama and daddy, and the partners of each papa and tutu.

    They're a really great family.icon_biggrin.gif
