metta8 saidAnderson Cooper 'planning to marry long-term live-in boyfriend... and it could be as soon as Labor Day'
Good news that makes me happy.
Although I might fault the news item's wording. "Long-term live-in boyfriend"?
I'm not sure I'm familiar with that term. Isn't that simply a partner? Evidently Anderson Cooper thinks so, because he's marrying him.
And perhaps this news source has inside information, but what makes the other guy the "live-in" and not Cooper? I'm sorry, but this is so full of stereotypes.
I'm not married, can't be here in Red Florida, but neither am I a "live-in". And my partner isn't, either. We're simply partners who live together as equals. "Live-in" sounds so much like a live-in housekeeper, or some other menial.
"Yes, I recently switched to a live-in boyfriend arrangement. I had a daytime boyfriend before him, but that was inconvenient to my schedule. I find the live-in arrangement is much more satisfactory, he's available 24 hours on-call now, none of these annoying delays in response time."
