What's your favorite exercise to do at the gym?

You know the one. The exercise you always kick ass at doing. The one that you feel comfortable with challenging yourself to lift heavier or to do more reps. The one that when you meet the challenge, makes you feel like AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH, FUCK YEAH!!

I always look forward to incline chest presses.

Squats come in a close 2nd.

I love leg days because they're helping me look like I didn't just get out of a full lower-body cast.

Dumbbell lunges, step-ups, leg presses, knee extensions, scissor switches, all that fun stuff...

LEG PRESSES!!! Same reason - I can do 1300lbs. It's not that uncommon, but compared to like 50lbs for the upper body exercises I attempt, I feel super human!

I like heavy squats and legs presses. We don't have a hack squat machine at my gym for some reason. I did some hack squats at a gym in Columbus tonite and had legs of rubber for awhile aftewards. Haven't felt that for awhile. Loved it!

Squats. They make me feel grounded and legs are the largest muscle group I think.

I have a love/hate relationship with the bench press. I love putting up the weight or exceeding a previous weight. However I hate the way it aggrevates my shoulder when I run after a workout. Its one of the most painful feelings in the world.

That is easy, running on the treadmill. It really releases the endorphins and lets me escape mentally to a different place. I could do without weights.

Bench press for me, although I prefer doing it on the horizontal bench press machine.

Any sort of tricep work is a close second.

Squats used to be, but I have a ruptured disc in my back so I can't do 'em any more. These days my fav exercise is chest work with dumbbells, although I still have a small chest.
And, did looknmd say he can leg press 1300 pounds? I think my knees would come apart with that much weight.

I love heavy leg presses and squats.

Hard as hell!

Make you sick to your stomach!

Make you feel like you can't breathe!

Awesome!

Leg Press 630 to 990 lbs / 4 sets of 12

Freeweight Squat 225 to 365 / 4 sets of 12

* No "pussy squats" either... squat till just below parallel

I teach a full body workout class and my "favorite" exercise uses a stability ball held between the feet--think leg lifts. We hold until it burns then rotate the ball with our feet for about 10 reps. After those, my abs are on fire and I love it.

I pretty much like it all. I guess I'd have to say that I'm not too keen on wide grip pull ups as I can't do many reps with my own bodyweight.

1. Bench Press for the impeccables
2. Ab Crunches (luv 'em)
3. Bicep Curl Bar (to tune the guns)
4. Side Bridge (my Transverse abdominus & Internal Olbliques hate me for doing this to them).
5. Wide Grip Pull Ups for that sexy V-notch called the traps.

I never did deadlifts until about 4 months ago. Now I love them - probably because I can go heavier than with any other exercise.

A chest super set:

7 Normal Benchpress
7 Pop up Pushups
7 Close, reverse grip benchpress

A Back superset
Dead Lift to Bent Over rows

My Bicep/Tricep Superset

10 Incline Curls to 10 Wall Curls

12 skull crushers / 8 single arm kick backs

For Legs - Heavy Squats and Calf Raises do the trick...oh and ab stuff...

I guess I like working everything!
