"Looking for friends" is something you see in many profiles. And yet...ever tried befriending someone who is looking for friends? What were the results?

I've become friends with plenty of people who didn't have "looking for friends" in their profile.

In my experience most people whose profile says they are "looking for friends" in fact are not.

I've made friends here - long-distance, facebook-ish friends, certainly; but friends.

By the way, I am in fact looking for friends. icon_smile.gif

Me too... Very much open to making friends here... If anything, I probably shouldn't have checked "dating/relationship" I live way too far away for that...

It's almost a mandatory response. The only people I've ever seen online who said they weren't looking for friends claimed that they had plenty. Needless to say, they sounded like real douchebags. I think a more appropriate description would be "open to making friends." That would go for dating on RJ too. I'm open to the idea of dating someone, but that isn't likely to happen on RJ, mainly due to distance.

"Looking for friends" = looking for hot friends who are my type and can potentially fuck.
