This is the toughest I’ve seen Krauthammer on Romney yet, criticizing him for not being ideological enough and not bringing home the argument that this economy is the fault of Obama and not the fault of everything Obama blames it on. Krauthammer says that if Romney can’t make this argument that he doesn’t deserve to win the presidency:

The Repubs are coming to grips with the fact that they picked a real lemon when they picked Romney - and now they're stuck with a loser.

Presidents really don't directly affect the economy so most of it is just rhetoric anyway, however, Presidents can influence the economy in a certain capacity depending on how business friendly or hostile their policies seem to be...Obama has done nothing but erode economic confidence the entire time he's been in office.

    Wait a minute !!! LOL

I'd submit that Obama's failing to stand up to the party of no as with the republicans contrived debt ceiling crisis played a huge part in the lack of confidence, Even with that we can put the blame mostly on the party of no and their politics to "make Obama a one term president".

The repubs are far more interested in success on their goals against Obama than they are on working with him by compromising to improve the economy for the American People. As SB used to say, "getting rid of Obama in itself will boost the economy", he was just parroting the Republican MO.
