Hey guys, I just joined the forums and I wanted to ask a question. I have been swimming almost daily and have lost some weight but I am noticing my stretch marks alot more now too. Is there a way to get rid or reduce them? Thanks!

With skin there isn't a 100% fix. It's mostly genetics. Things that can help are proper hydration, vitamin e (don't take too much or your skin will get oily), and Maderma:

Red light therapy helps too. Do a google search in your area for salons that have the Ergoline Beauty Angel unit. It's awesome for evening skin tone and softening fine lines as well.

Also, pretending you're an interesting genetic experiment, mixing Zebra, Tiger, and Man into a Manimal-esque human might be the way to spin this.

Genetic freaks are this year's must-have accessory.

You could use Strivectin, too. It's a tad expensive but works to really lighten the marks.

Also, look into dermarolling. Basically its a roller with a bunch of tiny needles. The point of it is to poke the skin just enough and have the body 'repair' it. Run that over your stretchmarks every other week, and apply some of that Mederma, or any kind of cream that has the vitamins to stimulate collagen growth.

Vitamin E cream and Magnesium oil may also help - have heard positive things about them from women who have had babies.
