Were you bold enough to take another guy? I took a girl to my senior prom, but I was really dreaming about how good all my (guy) classmates looked in their tuxes.icon_cool.gif

I took my 3 closest girl friends. I had my own harem. They're still my best friends ever, I love them.

I have a sadder story than all of you. My date got sick and cancelled on me the day of the prom. Since my mother was the senior class adviser she had to attend so I literally went to the prom with my mother.

I took a fat girl. Isn't that what all gay guys are supposed to do?

On a more serious note my prom date was a total beeyotch. I asked my one friend, girl friend who I had known forever back in the fall if she wanted to go to prom together and she said, very excitedly yes. Well a few weeks before the prom I found out that she had told this dude she was taking guitar lessons from that she would go with him. So I approached her about it and she said we were still going together. Then the day of the prom my mom called her mom and her mom said she had no idea she was going with me she thought she was going with guitar boy.

So I called and said I would go myself no need to go together and she was all like "No just come on we can go it's fine blah blah" so my mom who was crying, she does that alot, was like "Fuck that bitch I paid $50 for flowers for her and she pulls this shit." I calmed her down and I went as the third wheel. To top it off she just sat there the whole night texting so I just did my own thing and left with different people.

Brunhilda would have been the better choice..

I broke up with my overweight girlfriend just before prom and asked a cheerleader. She said yes. Then she ditched me a week beforehand. I next asked a good friend who was a pretty blond girl, who was excited and said yes. Then she found out she was not my first choice and boy was she pissed. Luckily, only after we had gone and had a good time. She later turned out to be a dyke, haha.

No one was out in high school in Texas in the late '70s.

Who did you take to your prom?

No one. I didn't attend. I didn't have a girlfriend, never dated. And I was too ugly and nerdy for any girl to ask me.

I hated high school, had no friends, only bullies. Got a mailed invite a few months ago to a 45th HS reunion. I phoned, asked them how they located me and got my address, threatened to sue them for invasion of my privacy. They removed my name from their data base, but if I get another thing from them my attorney will see it.

I was the only student of 455 who refused to have his yearbook photo taken, and who didn't attend graduation. The school withheld my diploma, but my parents filed a lawsuit, and it was finally given to me 2 months later.

Who did I take to my prom? What a joke - I wasn't welcome at my prom. Think 1967, and how much anyone "different" wasn't accepted.

I didn't go. I actually had two girls ask me (before I realized I was gay) but declined politely as I would have rather been hanging with some buddies, eating pizza, and playing video games.

And so that night I did. ;)

For Junior prom I took a cheerleader too, but my Junior prom sucked. So I skipped Senior prom and went to New York for a few days instead, apparently all my friends that didn't skip were jealous that I did because it was even worse than expected lol. Good call on my part

I took no one to junior prom and grinded with some guys.icon_smile.gif Then senior prom, when I was already out, I took a good girl friend to the prom. It was alright but I was already pretty distant from most of my acquaintances there and had few friends there.icon_neutral.gif In fact, I don't really have any friends that I still see or spend time with from high school.
