Are you able to eat all the food you want or junk and still manage to have the perfect body? Are you able to stay toned or do you have to cut back on certain things to keep the look?

All of my friends hate me because I eat nothing but crap all day, and still remain the same size. lol i think it is because i unrecognizingly eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, because they taste good. Who knows?

I can eat anything I want and not gain weight.
But that's a different result than being fit.

I also don't each that much.

I think it is a myth for a few reasons:

    1) If you actually wrote down what you ate for a week and had a professional look at it, you likely would still be consuming an overall healthy diet and keeping your "macros," as the broscience people like to call it, in relative balance.

    2) People who actually witness you eating something junky without reserve don't follow you around the rest of the week when you aren't.

    3) "Anything you want" is relative. How often and how much are they doing this? Again, no one is following you around. They also aren't watching you workout or know how intense it feels for you to do what you do and live like you live.

    4) "Fit" has multiple definitions for different people. Maybe you can run mile after mile. Maybe you can bench/squat a lot of weight. Maybe you can do sports or acrobatics well. Maybe you can lift moderate amounts of weights until your muscles burn for the sake of making them burn. Maybe you can do the splits and balance on your hands or something.

    5) People's anatomy differs and the shape of their skeleton and muscles are different. Therefore, if you have a look someone else thinks is aesthetically appealing but you don't do much for it, they may consider you in shape or fit while you do that by just walking to school munching on Cheetohs while not overeating.

    6) Some people have had plastic surgery and inject testosterone. It is a lot of people too.

Bottom line: people perceive others as "eating anything they want" but that is from their personal perspective psychology and values.

when you are hungry, you need to get some food
when you are thirsty, you want to get some drink
when you are hungry+thirsty, you should get some cereal(cereal+milk)

Yeah "anything" is a big array of foods out there lol
I wouldn't say anything but I can eat a lot of food that might make other people get fat quick but it doesn't work like that for me

Now, I am sure if I had double cheeseburgers and fries EVERYDAY then I would gain weight but that's just stupid

If I am craving a pizza and ice cream then I'll do it. I try not to make it a daily habit though

I try NOT to eat anything because some foods just don't mix well and don't always agree with me. So it's not a matter of making me fat, it's a matter of making me feel bad and getting a stomach ache or diarrhea icon_razz.gif

    Hell No!

I gain weight just by watching a commercial with fatty food in it.

I just watched that new KFC commercial (see below)...and I'm sure I just gained 2 lbs

yep, that's pretty much been my life and people hate me for it. but you have to remember that i was always playing sports growing up as a kid and all the males in my family are tall and skinny, so the genetic thing is going on too.

No. I have to be super aware of the calories/carbs/sugar/fat of everything I eat and keep a food diary that tallies those for me to keep within my macros to else it's bye-bye six pack. My metabolism is awful. :/

I can eat anything as I please, in moderation! Key word: moderation! I can eat lamb curry for 2 & still keep my waistline! I also learn to keep myself active. It doesn't help that I'm hypoglycemic & whatnot because diabetes runs in my family; I am, for the most part, in shape. Last year, as well as, 9 years ago was different, no thanks to pneumonia. I'm getting back there...

Lol. No. I had three rolls of sushi tonight. It was delicious. Then, I went back to the gym to do 45 minutes of cardio.

I used to eat anything I wanted and never gained weight. It was kind of a mixed-blessing. That started fading when I hit my 40s. I'm still pretty lucky, considering my bad food habits, but I definitely have to watch it a bit these days.

I ate mcdonalds every day for a week. I sometimes eat 3 or 4 dinners. I haven't done any cardio in the past few months. And I never do abs. So yes but I think being 18 has something to do with it

I WISH. I make one day (usually Sunday) a day where I eat whatever I want. And usually I don't eat much more anyway. I've never been fat but my family all had a weight issue so I'm very afraid of that happening which is one reason I eat as healthy as possible.
