Yeah but these are field hockey players, not ice hockey - so not sure if they get to keep their teeth or not

I didnt even realize men played field hockey, so i looked it up. Apparently the US team didnt even bother with the olympic quaifiers this year--were just not good enough :/

I read that often guys who want to play in high school (because there are only girls teams) need permission (i suppose, of course) but are generally required to wear the skirt, too. An attempt to shame them away from the sport?

That's definitely a chick sport in Canada....no self-respecting man plays that here. Sounds like something that would be played at the Gay Games (in fishnets and highheels.)

Yeah, it's a game played outside in countries below the icecaps, and very physical...

Is ice hockey an Olympic sport? Winter Olympics?
