I like it well enough, not my favorite, though. Looking forward to the new album!

    NO DOUBT!! MAH FRAVRIT BANGD!!

I knew the album was coming out in Sept but didn't expect any music for a while. Thanks!

Nice to see the group meeting up again and interesting to see the Harajuku girls sticking around in the background.

Gwen is so much better with No Doubt than as a solo artist for sure.

As long-time fan of the group, I have to say that the video is better than the song. However, it definitely felt like a bit of a blast from the past, eh?

Nevertheless, I'm very much looking forward to their new album in September!

I agree, solo she seems off. I don't know how well No Doubt will do in today's manufactured performers era.

Biggest No Doubt fan on the planet from 1997 onward, but I am not sure about this one...In other news, all of that botox on Gwen and girl still looks amazing!

This song is very disappointing. Already has that "been there done that" feeling. No energy.

I loves me some Gwen Stefani!!! I agree that she is best with NO DOUBT, but I enjoyed here solo stuff as well. She looked a bit wide-eyed bordering on cracked out in some of the video --- but still gorgeous. I think the song is catchy and will work on radio. It's different...and that is a good thing.

I feel like I should just get a man, marry him and *Settle Down every time I listen to this song. Gwen Stefani went to my older brother HS in Anaheim, yay, OC representing. I love her, she's great and her music/band rock! Love No Doubt. Her husband Gavin Rossdale is cute, too.

I'm so not surprised to see fans here. I went to 2 of her solo concerts and the audience was like 60% gay guys, 40% girls.

I challenge you to a biggest No Doubt fan off, World24.

I find the song catchy enough, but I don't really grow to like songs that quickly. The faster I like it, the sooner I get sick of it. I didn't like Hey Baby or Hella Good for a loooong time. I end up liking every song of theirs... except for Breaking Up.

Same. I know a lot of instant hits tend to push me away pretty quickly because of overexposure.

For some reason, iffy songs have a tendency to grow on me over time. Some of their songs I didn't like when I was a kid have suddenly become some of my favorites as an adult.

By the way, I absolutely love the "Hella Good" video. It's so damn crazy and nonsensical, but totally bad ass. I can't imagine it any other way, haha.

I cannot help but notice the almost exact bassline(?), not sure that's the right term for it, from Rich Girl.

Agreed! Wow, this really takes me back! I used to get stoned, play Zelda on mute, and listen to Tragic Kingdom for hours upon hours! Miss those teenage summers!

Yeah me too! For lots of albums. Some new situation in life will phase in and suddenly the words to that song I usually skip come in my head and I just get it and start to love it. Or else I will hear a live version and think:

I still get a kick out of this video and their first album. Just so much goofiness and fun.

Seeing this kinda makes me miss Eric Stefani. He was the brains behind the group in the early part of the career.

I'm wondering if there is going to be any more drum/bass added to the album... say, some dubstep? Or maybe I'm thinking too far ahead... icon_confused.gif

I love this version of Trapped in a Box.
Origin of the song first and the song starts at 1:47. Here we go, here we go, here we go!

Speaking of Eric, I wanna hear a proper version of Let's Go Ride Horses. I love the rough little demo leaked to youtube.

By the way, when I had my wisdom teeth removed four years ago, I had new, profound appreciation for "Ache."

LOL I play that before I go to the dentist each time too. That's a vid I've never seen before. It's cool with all of these new videos on youtube. In university I went on a blitz getting as many cds and b-sides as I could find. I should really see what's come out since.

Indeed. It's been great to dig up some of No Doubt's early gigs. It's also fun to watch Gwen fuck up occasionally from those days icon_lol.gif
