My boyfriend thinks I look good, but personally I want to get a little larger. I'm pretty small at 5'9" 140lbs. Is it possible to get up to 155 in under a year? I don't really want to go beyond 160, but I also am tired of being 140. Would it be possible to do without powders? I currently live in Korea and powders are not only expensive, but very hard to come by.

I'm thinking of eating rice and eggs for breakfast, stirfry for lunch and dinner. I'm also planning to workout about 4 days a week (I'm teaching and going to get started on studying for the GRE...fun times).

Any advice would be helpful. Again, not looking to get huge, but to get a little bigger with my same BF % of about 8 or so.

    Thanks in advance!

It sounds like your goals are reasonable. What you'll likely have to do is put on mass and then lean back down to your preferred body fat percentage. What has worked for me in the past is to basically double my food intake and then do a linear progressional weight program like this one ([urlhttp://whole9life.com/the-603-ptp/[/url]). There are other ones out there though that you can Google. I gained about 20lbs in four weeks and then dropped about 5lbs of fat to get back to my target body fat. Good luck.

Thanks! It seems like a good program.

I tried to make realistic goals, but soon realized I could go way beyond that.

I'd recommend also having mid meal snacks, that helps boost your metabolism so you aren't eating 3 huge meals. Ontop of your weight program if you want to maintain body fat, aim for around 3 high intensity cardio sessions a week - doesnt have to be long 10-15 mins but I definately find that helps! Good luck icon_smile.gif
