Aparently the TBaggers haven't taken the BAG's off their heads yet and are so blinded and desperate that they're still trying to develop "CONSPIRACY THEORIES" about Obamas birth.

What can you say for such people other than "IGNORANCE IS BLISS"

Think in a hundred years Tea Partiers will be performing re-enactments of the birther battles - brandishing replica "forgeries"?

    "Mine looks for accurately fake!"

Yes Obama minions...nothing happened, its false, these are all lies. He didnt attend a racist, hate America church, he didnt know anything about fast and furious, he didnt smoke pot and do cocain when he was younger, he didnt have anything to do with the corrupt Chicago politics when he suprisingly won the senate seat in Illinois.

Keep practicing you tactics on elections. I read and follow them everyday and see how they are used. Its in a book called "Rules For Radicals" every republican, conservative and tea party member should read it

    A) I don't give a shit what church he ever attended, or if he went to no church at all.
    B) Who says he knew nothing about "fast and furious."
    C) Good luck finding anybody who didn't do some kind of drugs at some point in their lives.
    D) What exactly did Obama have to do with corrupt Chicago politics ?
    E) If he didn't win his Senate seat fairly, it was up to his opponent to demand a recount and/or an investigation.

Honey, it looks like you've got nothing but Faux News bull shit.

I didn't think socalfitness would be among them.

I remember the thread that Southbeach1500 started and it appeared that he, mocktwinkie, and jock_1 were entertaining birtherism. I honestly thought socalfitness was above that. I figured he didn't say anything because he didn't want to appear to be critical of those who are also politically conservative. But with this...

    Very disappointed.

This made-up conspiracy nonsense is what the Republican party has been reduced to. No ideas on how to fix our nation's problems, just endless regurgitation of the same crackpot discredited BS.
    Sad.

In other news of panic from the American Thinker...

Few things are more destructive than gay marriage, a poison pill devised to corrode the very core of a healthy society -- the institution of marriage.

I neither embrace nor run from labels such as "birtherism" because it is a term applied by the left and media to denigrate those who question Obama's birth place specifically. It is also used gratuitously to denigrate those who question any aspect of Obama's past.

    1. The report in the OP is a technical one. I don't expect its validity to be seriously corroborated or challenged here. It is of interest, and I posted it as information, and to solicit any serious, technical rebuttals some of you may find on left-leaning sites. If there are no rebuttals forthcoming, any objective person would have to consider serious questions it raises.

    2. My opinion is Obama was born in Hawaii and is a US citizen because I have heard reports that his birth was announced in the two major Honolulu newspapers at the time, the Star Bulletin and the Advertiser.

    3. I consider it very likely that there are aspects of Obama's university records that would cause trouble if known, which would explain why they have been kept hidden, unlike the record of other presidents and presidential candidates. For example, he could have applied as a foreign citizen, and possibly might have dual citizenship. That would not diminish his US citizenship, but it would cause him difficulties.

    4. From Obama's own book, he mentioned that he befriended Marxist professors. I would like to see papers he wrote during that time to determine his beliefs then and to better explain his ideology today.

    5. His murky past combined with his ideology raises concerns about his loyalty to this country, in my opinion. In particular, his foreign policy is oriented towards weakening this country. I would like to see the facts so that others would have proof behind what is driving him and could make a better informed decision about voting in November.

Jock_1 , from your above comments you've apparently got a lot of boogymen and demons you see out there in Obamaland. It alarms me to see such a young man as you so jaded and fearful based on the Fox News type fear mongering. There's a lot of conjecture and few facts in what you've said against Obama above. For your own sake, step outside these partisan talking points for a while and read more broadly, you'll be less fearful.

    socalfitness,

You're right in not expecting its validity to be seriously corroborated or challenged, because most of us, like you (glad to see that you do), accept that President Obama was born in the United States.

I believe it is only of interest to you and that you welcome its perspective because it is criticizing something about Obama, in this case his birth certificate. I would think that someone who does believe Obama was born in the US wouldn't even entertain the notion of the forgery and would dismiss this article. Yet your resentment of our President is so strong that you're willing to give credibility to whatever conservative conspiracy theorists are putting out there.

An objective person would give the points raised in this article as much consideration as they would that Prometheus gave humans the gift of fire or that the goddess Osiris walks among us.

    socalfitness,

An objective person would give the points raised in this article as much consideration as they would that Prometheus gave humans the gift of fire or that the goddess Osiris walks among us.

I'm not sure if you miss my point, but to clarify. The question of his birth place and the question of his birth certificate being a forgery are separate. For example, the forgery could exist to hide some other information besides his place of birth. The article is technical and I do not expect an objective person to have a strong opinion unless they are technically qualified. If an expert makes a rebuttal, and both respond, it will be similar to a trial with two expert witnesses giving opposite testimony. But we don't have that at this point.

It is inaccurate to characterize my position of Obama as resentful. I happen to believe he is either incredibly stupid, or he willfully wants to damage the country. Aside from examples of foreign policy, I look at his ignoring the major recommendations of his own debt commission to reduce spending to keep our debt from increasing towards unsustainable levels. He and his supporters try to deflect blame on the Republicans for not being willing to increase taxes on the wealthy. But several sources have looked at the projected revenue from the tax rate he seeks, and at the rate of government spending, would only pay for 8.5 days per year. So it obviously would not have any significant impact, and is only an excuse. Increasing the debt will not only weaken us internationally, but it will degrade the quality of life for future generations. I believe he is not incredibly stupid, but I also don't think he is as smart as some think. Overall, I think he doesn't like this country and wants to poke us in the eye. He is what he is, not one to be resented, but disrespected. The unfortunate ones are his supporters, generally loyal, but deluded.

    socalfitness,

You say that a forged birth certificate can possibly hide something else besides his place of birth. I'd like to hear what other information someone would want to distort and for what purpose.

I'll rescind my claim that you're a birther, but I thought you were above this conspiracy theory nonsense.
