These films are the specialty of the director, David DeCoteau, who with alarming regularity churns out these terrible, woodenly acted low budget homoerotic horror flicks with plots revolving around young "actors" playing frat boy/vampires and Wall Street trader/werewolves that constantly strip down to underwear and speedos. But "Killer Bash," launched the career of one of them - "Glee's" Corey Monteith ("Finn") back when he actually could pass for a high school student. In it Monteith plays what else? A frat boy who regularly strips down to his underwear:

it really bothers me when people (especially those in the gay community) use "gay" as a pejorative for "dumb," "stupid," "sucky," etc.

anyway, that movie looks terrible. watch it be released straight to netflix and receive numerous razzie nominations

It really bothers me when people get overly sensitive about words. If people can't use the word gay to mean dumb, stupid, or sucky, then we also can't use the word to be happy. Words evolve and different meaning and definitions come about. Do you get all hot and bothered over people using the word retarded to mean dumb, stupid, or sucky? (That's actually a serious question.)

People give words meaning, and you're choosing to get offended by it. There are a lot of other things in this world that are worth getting worked up over--this is not one of them.

Also, this movie is pretty fucking gay--and I don't just mean awful. I mean gay.

I think I saw at least one of the works in his oeuvre - House of Usher. It was REALLLY terrible.

In this trailer I liked the Bermuda Triangle zapping the guy for doing lat pulldowns behind the neck. Seemed like appropriate punishment.

An attempt at both. If it's like the one I saw, it fails miserably at both as well.

This is a David DeCoteau movie ... he is know for really bad B rated homo erotic movies ... but you'll never see anything gay or any dick in any of them ...I have several of the earlier movies ... they are fun to watch from time to time ... but don't expect any academy award winning actiing ... as a matter of fact it seems like he looks for the hottest worst acting guys he can find

This is no Showgirls. In this movie everyone probably realizes its a bad movie and joke. What made Showgirls a classic was that almost everyone knew it was a bad movie and a joke, but they forgot to inform Elizabeth Berkley.

i'm not being overly sensitive, however, i do feel like you're being extremely rude and have a condescending attitude. you're correct, words do evolve and change meaning over time - for example Republicans in the 1800s were more like today's Democrats.

the lgbtqia community is currently fighting for equality to no longer be treated as second-class citizens, and to end discrimination against us. for this to happen, we need to set a good example for the rest of society and not use these immature slurs.

re your "serious question" about using the word "retarded" as a pejorative for "dumb," "stupid," "sucky," etc. no it doesn't get me "all hot and bothered," but i do find it to be incredibly ignorant and juvenile.

if you want to use these terms as pejoratives then that is your prerogative of course, but myself (and others) have the same prerogative to call you out on your ignorance and school you in hopes that you'll open your mind and not be such an insensitive prick and no longer set a bad example or give your fellow lgbtqia community members a bad name.

of course there are more important issues in the world - how absurd! but it appears to me given your defensive reply to original comment, the only one getting "worked-up" here is you.

It's done here in the US and I too find it offensive. It equates and reinforces the straights' stereotype that gay men are effete, weak, etc.

Let's each say what bothers each of us. Then let's tell each other how we're wrong about what bothers us and proceed to argue. Just save the typical argument and talk about how fail that movie is.

okay, I love the part where they drag the guy in the grass out of the camera frame... hahaha so believable.

It might "work" if he constantly drew attention to how obvious he was making the film about the hot "actors" in a comedic way but otherwise it looks like a raging disaster.

I completely support your viewpoint. there is something seriously fucked up when people think it's ok to substitute "gay" for "dumb/stupid/idiotic" in a sentence.

    thanks for the support!

i really liked the "don't say, 'that's so gay!'" PSA starring wanda sykes and later hillary duff - it really hit the nail on the head.

those 1313 movies are the worst movies ever

they are made for old gay men and house wives
I watch 2 called 1313 attack of the killer bees and 1313 cougar cult

it is always the same mansion,. same old crack ho tittie chick who plays the mom and they all walk around that horribly decorated house saying.."hello???" then get killed by really bad graphics.

I cannot believe netflix has some of them.
