Sustenance saidI realize it is not a community issue so much as it is an individual issue. There are angry people in this world that harbor many resentments. The internet is where they let their frustrations out that they would otherwise be shunned for by society. I've done it; perhaps you have done it also. The truth is in the end it hurts nobody but yourself. So, my new motto is: just let it be (or was that The Beatles). Any hoots... You can live at peace within yourself even in this crazy world we live in. Lately, I find I am just grateful for the day I have and the wonderful friends who support me 24/7. I owe a great deal to those people and though I may not always be deserving, I try to show kindness to the next guy for it.
I agree with you there and normally go through life the way you do, but sometimes it just boggles my mind to see other people treated a certain way. I mean, regardless of how superior some of us in the community think you are, if you are gay, then you are a MINORITY (regardless of what you look like), so why condemn others that are even more of a minority than you are? Why do we treat bisexuals/drag queens/fems/other races/handicapped etc even less? Is it because some people need a reason to feel superior, as though they are the majority anytime they are not?
