"WASHINGTON -- Some tax experts are alarmed by Mitt Romney's apparent admission that Bain Capital set up offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands to help wealthy investors avoid paying U.S. taxes."

It'll be interesting to see how this turns out. I have a feeling that Romney wouldn't snitch on Bain without a motive.

THIS IS GREAT NEWS !!!!! Now we can attack him from the standpoint that his interests will be for helping out his fellow 1% to avoid taxes, and add this to the other examples of how out of touch he is with the average American.

But Romneys sper smart and his experience as a private businessman is JUST what this country needs, so everyone can set u off short accounts to aoid paying taxes, or something like that.

Is it too late for the Republicans to nominate John McCain again?
I think he might have a better shot.

This makes it clear that if we ever do get to see Romney's tax records there could be a lot of borderline criminal tax evasion in his closet.

But at this point I think it's become obvious that Romney will not release his tax records.

They're just too dirty for him to expose.

    This whole thing amazes me.
If Romney's taxes contain information so damaging that there's no way he can reveal it, why did he bother running for President in the first place?
Everyone knows candidates release their taxes. It's not like he didn't see this coming.
It's pathetic to watch him throwing it all away after coming this far.
I'd almost feel sorry for him if he wasn't such a homophobic douche.

Correction: Romney isn't throwing anything away. A desperate and extremely worried Democratic party is throwing everything but the kitchen sink at him --- 90% of which is misinformation, twisted & dissected, hoping something might stick. So far, nothing has, and that in itself speaks volumes.

It's pathetic to watch Curiousjock and his fellow RJ Repubs posting delusional and bogus right-wing talking points on the RJ Forum threads because they're "desperate and extremely worried" that President Obama will be reelected - and that President Obama will then make sure that the Bush tax cuts for the rich die this coming January.

Wow- you're full of predictions tonight.
Now you're predicting that Romney is going to win?

We will all take note of that prediction.

Correct. The Democrats are panicking. Maybe not the ones on RJ who are living in their fantasy world of rosy optimism painted by the spin sites. Notice they have avoided this thread like the plague.

For the idiots who think that "Obama's lead over Romney has increased by several points since Bain became the main subject of the campaign":

President Obama and Mitt Romney are effectively tied in the race for the presidency, according to a new CBS News/New York Times survey.
Forty-seven percent of registered voters nationwide who lean towards a candidate back Romney, while 46 percent support the president. Four percent are undecided. The one percentage point difference is within the survey's three point margin of error.

I like the sweet effective sound and site of the Obama advertisment that says it all about Romney, as he sings the National Anthem while the factual phrases are popping up in bold print about Romneys Anti American Bain Capital sending jobs overseas and hiding money to avoid paying taxes. ROMNEY, IS NOT THE ONE WE NEED TO RUN THIS COUNTRY.

Much to the RJ Conservaposse's disappointment that add is 'sticking' and it is not 'twisted and dissected misinformation', the advertisement is fact filled.

CJ references 'desperation' from the dems, but the real desperation is showing as Romney keeps repeating in his talks that Obama is "foreign" to the US, Un American and the likes, now there is some true baseless acts of desperation.

Obama's lead over Romney has increased by several points since Bain became the main subject of the campaign.

    Really, nice try, though.
Panicked and desperate? And spinning like crazy? That would be the national Republicans for the former, and the conservaposse for the latter.

You have 3-1/2 months to cherish your fantasy that somehow Inept Boy will pull this thing out. Enjoy them.

Where exactly are you seeing that?
