Ive always wished that i had the ability to just look at a guy and have cute halo around his head so that i can tell if hes into the same things as i am. But, i no longer have such abilities. Anyways, i was wondering, do you own any pride flags, bracelets, platers, t-shirts ect ? Do you wear em ? Why not ?

I have a rainbow stripe on the back of my truck and a rainbow triangle tattoo in the center of my back.

I don't think I'll ever bother to buy flags and stuff, partly coz I'm still coming out, and partly coz I have no idea where to buy them from. Otherwise, I'm not minding about showing my affections towards a date in public. (LOL last Friday was a blast... dancing with and kissing a date in public!) icon_razz.gif

I think the only "gay" item that I own and wear is my 'get it on' gay.com wife beater. But I only wear that to bed. OH WAIT NO! I have that red "he's gay" t-shirt with an arrow pointing to the right(see pics) that I wear every now and then.

Nope, don't have anything. Well, other than a shirt that says "Catcher" on it that my best friend purchased for me as a gag gift.

Why not? I don't feel the need. More power to those that want to, though.

I don't believe in wearing my sexuality on my sleeve!
One has no need to promote my sexuality; but then that's what being a fag is all about too.

But then I haven't seen anything that represents the only fag in the Village either.

But I did pick up a red T-shirt in Hawaii with an arrow on it, that states His Gay ->

Plus I believe Pride is one of the biggest sins.

Is it not Pride that will stop a father from loving his son, just because he was born a homosexual.

    No Pride is wrong.

I have a cap with a rainbow squiggle on it.

Something like this...but mine has a green cap and a blue bill...and the squiggle is a bit different.

I don't need some trinket to be proud of who I am. I wake up every day and go to sleep every night knowing that I'm proud gay man and I don't have to show that pride going to PRide or wearing the bracelt like some type of advertisement. It's something I feel is unecessary for me to do.

I'm not hating on the people who do advertise their pride but I just feel it's something I don't need in my life. I'm gay whether I do or don't.

i dont wear anything that has a rainbow on it, the way i see it if straight people dont run around wearing things that label them as such then why do i need to do the same for my side.

I don't own any of that stuff and never have. I don't feel the need to wave any flags or carry any banners.

I just dress well and behave intelligently.
That alone hints to my gayness icon_razz.gif

Sometimes I'm totally flamin! On Friday nights I usually go to my favorite club dressed in daisy dukes (Not too short) a rainbow T-Shirt, rainbow show laces, a rainbow bracelet, and top it all off with a pink cowboy hat or rainbow bandana. I get some stares at the gas station if I need a fill up once in awhile.
My car has rainbow bumper stickers, equality and HRC stickers on it, along with my Freemason symbol, US Army Retired sticker and my McCain 08 sticker.

That's frikkin hilarious! I've GOT to include my 'color-season' in my new personal ad. Somewhere Kevyn Aucoin is smiling.

I went and saw Alter Boyz last night, and decided to make my mohawk all pointy looking, which is kind of a popular way to wear it among the gay ones. Sure enough I got caught in some hot guys tractor beam.

Is that showing pride? As in it made a gaydar register more easily.

HRC sticker on my truck too.

David Hyde-Pearce (Niles from Frazier) was asked about his sexuality once said "I live my life as an open book. That doesn't mean that I have to read it to you."

I don't have any pride flags or stickers. I believe that most people that count can tell that I'm comfortable being gay without being militant or 'in your face'. The 80's are over.

Sometimes I wonder if my bumper sticker is overkill at this point, but I never thought a sticker was "militant" or "in your face" or "flag waving" or "screaming". Y'all must know a lot of lesbians or something. ;-)

Taking such pride in not showing your pride! Sheesh.

I agree with Rugger...I'm not sure how a putting a sticker on your car (or whatever) is 'militant.'

    *shrugs*

    Anyhoo, to answer the question...no.

I don't have anything rainbow related simply because I don't like rainbows.

I don't have anything with pink triangles either because I'm not a fan of the color pink (or purple or yellow for that matter).

I also don't have an HRC sticker on my car because they pissed me off (after years of giving them donations, I sent them three letters asking for legal advice...all of which were ignored).

    Oh, and what are "platers"?
