2011 was a record breaker, but nothing like 2012. The Icecap of the North Pole is vanishing at alarming rates, the sea levels are raising, but I hear that the Republicans reading 'scripture' declared on the 'floor' that "God said he'd never destroy the whole world again", that "god had supplied endless amounts of resources" So burn that oil, buy that SUV and burn that gas, we can't destroy the earth because God says so !!! LOL

Woll what do you think of Global warming now with the proof right before our eyes ?

Is it Global Warming or just normal fluctuations ?

Based on the overwhelming evidence, I think it's clear that we are experiencing global warming.

*All the arguing over how to spend/cut spending makes it easy to turn a blind to it... for now.

Ok, I'll bite at this apple. So you are saying that the 7 or 8 years it has been hotter than this summer must be due to global warming also? Since some of those hot summers were in the 1990' 1930's and so on that would make global warming an issue since weather records have been kept?

So what do I think of global warming? I don't, it isnt an issue and never has been one in my mind

We're saying that temps and water levels are rising, that this is only the beginning, and over time it could be a threat to the global population of species.

Arguing with liberals is like playing chess with a pigeon; no matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock out the pieces, crap on the board, and strut around like it is victorious.

Reasons to think conservatives are stupid:
    They don't believe in:
    Evolution
    Separation of church and state
    Global warming
    Obama's birth certificate
That all Americans deserve access to healthcare
that they contribute negatively to political discourse and troll te online forums

    And the list goes on

I was just confused as to whether you believed the climate was changing. It sounds like you just believe in your party lines though, so I'll be prepared for a lot of flip flopping on this issue too.

No, you are just confused. My "party lines" have nothing to do if its 70 degrees tomorrow or 100 degrees. Yeah the climate changed this year, last year we had a wet cold summer this year its sunny and hot and I love it. Its great now how the conservatives are blamed for the daily temperatures now. Are you that fucking narrow minded?

Don't put words in my mouth. I haven't "blamed" anyone for changes in the temp. I've only sought to have you clarify your vague statements... I'm still not clear where you and your party stand on the issue...?

Just remember how EASY it is to walk away from something you don't believe in when you vote for a candidate who doesn't believe in gay rights.

At your young age, what inspires your far right beliefs, just curious, because usually the only younger people who think like you appear to, are the very very religious.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just a week ago I posted an article showing that over 4000 heat records were broken across the midwest in particular but the totals included the entire nation.

The heat in March across the Midwest had never lasted for so long since record keeping. For instance, I went to Michigan in Early march, it was in the 80's just as it was a few days later when I traveled to Florida. That is unheard of in Michigan and those temps lasted for almost 3 weeks.

Climate change is not a question of what you fucking "believe" -p it;s a matter of weighing the evidence:

    http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/07/18/the-endless-summer/?ref=opinion

And even if you don't "believe" shouldn't we be cautious? "I don't believe the next corner is too sharp, I'm not slowing down." Dumb.
