You really don't need to worry about what to wear.

OMG, too tacky. Too many colors.

I suggest something a little more discreet, showing your pride in a less flamboyant manner.

How about a unicorn shirt? icon_biggrin.gif

If this is an actual serious date with a guy with whom you've had prior contact and actually like, and aren't just out to fuck, then I would dress in something that A.) fits the place you're meeting, and B.) is honestly YOU. I always try to avoid wearing stuff I know for a fact that I'd never wear in any other circumstance; it just feels dishonest. Wear something comfortable enough for the weather, sharp enough for the meeting place, and honestly and unmistakably "you."

    *shrug* That's just me. icon_smile.gif

I go with mtown_nerd--we nerds have to stick together.

For me, I'd probably wear the pair of "date jeans" (I have one pair of jeans that fits much better than my others), and a nice t shirt. And I'd do a good job of shaving . Unless it's dinner at a fancy restaurant or going to a play or something, I feel that's totally acceptable. If it's not to the guy...he and I are likely not going to get along very well anyway.

Your best shirt and jeans, unless you're going to a place which requires an alternative dress code. Last time I wore a tight black shirt and a best pair of blue jeans, as I was going clubbing. icon_razz.gif

Would depend where the date was.

If it was a 5 star restaurant, then One would dress approperatly, same if it was a bar.

guess it depends where you are going to meet. I've got a date coming up and I'm not to good with all this either. It's a bit more on the dressy side so I'm probably going to be at the mercy of two friends giving me advice. I do better if it's casual.

Ha ha ha oh shit! Hahaha shit.

It's not anything fancy we just want to meet up, talk and see how it goes. We decided to go to this bar in the gay village, it's on the terrasse(sorry for the French word icon_sad.gif )of this club, it's a nice place and we can see the fireworks the play every week end from there.

I don't knownif dressing tight or just normal or my Capri pans hahaha I hate this guy

    In clothes...

Your clothes - whatever you normally wear. Don't wear your cruising clothes, even if you just want to get lucky. But wear something you'd normally wear to dinner out. Just be yourself. If you try to hard, he'll notice right off the bat.

If you showed up in a polyester leisure suit, I'd still think you're hot. icon_wink.gif Don't worry about it.

I'm not crazy about meeting a guy for the first time at a bar, but it's yourdate. I'd wear a comfortable t-shirt--make sure it hugs in the right places--and some jeans. For footwear, I'd do whatever is most comfortable--I always wear flipflops if I can get away with them.

Flip flops should only be worn in around the house, in the locker room and at the beach.

    That is all.

    No.

They are lazy, sloppy, and reveal the nasty feet of the many people who do not know how to properly groom/care for their feet and toes.

    No.

Flip flops are not good footwear. They are not shoes.

Flip-flops/sandals on the right guy are a huge plus! It reflects a casualness and body comfort.

Mergatroids, Charlitos, you are one busy guy. Yesterday you were in 12 o'clock high drama with another guy and today icon_wink.gif is yet another? Good grief, were you planning this one while beating your chest over the French connection? wow....

Yeah i know how it looks, but the french guy was not something recent, and I had that post cause we are talking to each other now as friends and I was wondering if I should try to "come back with him" but after all the comments there, I already made my mind, we will be just good friends, as we are now, continue our lives and maybe who knows if one day we can meet, that would be really nice for sure.
