“Chick-fil-A doesn’t belong in Boston. You can’t have a business in the city of Boston that discriminates against a population. We’re an open city, we’re a city that’s at the forefront of inclusion,” Menino told the Herald yesterday.
“That’s the Freedom Trail. That’s where it all started right here. And we’re not going to have a company, Chick-fil-A or whatever the hell the name is, on our Freedom Trail.”
“If they need licenses in the city, it will be very difficult — unless they open up their policies,” he warned.

    guuuurl!

On the one hand it strikes me as a bit of facism on the Freedom Trail. I think it is wrong to stop them from opening a restaurant, though I'm all for the city policing it's own antidiscriminatory policies. Now how Chick-N-shit will run their open store without staff? I suppose that would be their problem. So, on the Freedom Trail, fuck'm.

Cheers Boston. Thanx for drawing and holding that line.

Bahston is a wicked pissa city!

    Have lived here 50 years.

Just ranked #1 city for families, Mass General Hospital was ranked # 1 and Boston Children's Hospital was also ranked #1

Over the last 30 years, the city has transformed itself from a very segregated city into a very inclusive, open, vibrant city.

We have the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox, Revolution

Harvard, MIT, Babson, Boston College, Boston Univ, Northeastern....128 colleges in Boston region.

Mountains to the north, Cape Cod to the south.

    Bear Week at Provincetown!

The Boston Tea Party and lots of history.

and no place to pahk ya cah !

You are truly an extremely stupid dumbass if you're siding with the enemy.

Boston's mayor is trying to protect YOUR rights, and you're siding with the one who donates money to take away YOUR rights.

If I knew you in person and read this, you'd never hear from me again unless you read my posts online.

So it is okay to use the city government discriminant against a company because of their polices? Really??? It the tables were turned, it would be evil. I don't like this type of political discourse. If you don't agree with the company boycott it and tell others, but don't use the government to push an agenda. Liberals and Conservatives have such double standards sometimes.

If I remember right they push their agenda against gay marriage in politics all the time, so whats wrong with them being on the other end for a change.
