Yeah, she was one of the best actresses of her time, if not, of all time. I guess she might have been a gay diva at that time, understandably because of the wit that she carried off so well in her movies and perhaps because she does look like a cross dressing man in some of her movies. "What a dump". I love that line.

She put the capital "S" in snarky
This one clip has more gay quotable comments than a drag queen convention

I watched an interview with Cybil Shepard. She used to get together with friends after school to watch Bette and learn how to 'scare the crap out a man'.

I love Bette Davis too, but so do Joan Crawford and Elizabeth Taylor.

I love her movie Dead Ringer...but I also have a copy of Another Mans Poison.

You dont hardly see the movie Another Mans Poison anywhere, does anyone know anything about the movie? I know most of her movies sell for about $15-20 online but I have seen Another Mans Poison for $60 and $70, wonder why? Great story line though.

    My favorite Bette Davis moment:

    From "The Little Foxes"

    "I've always been lucky."

(said to her sick husband whom she despises, right before he collapses on the stairs amd negs her to get his heart medicine....and she doesn't move a muscle)

Love the gal! Bette's wit, sass and dramatic gravity lifted her above commonly held notions of class, age, race and even gender. My favorite films include "Now Voyager," "Mr. Skeffington," "Dark Victory," and "Dangerous!"
