well considering that the life expectancy is between 80 and 100 ... there is a good chance most will ... how healthy you are will depend on how bad your bad habits are and how good your good habits are.

For many, yes. But genetics also plays a part, and the onset of cancer is still not always easily ascribable to bad habits.

Look forward to having a late period as a painter (which traditionally begins at around 80).

I'd probably workout even harder than I am now... if I'm going to live that long, I want to be as active as possible. And I'd rather not look like Skeletor, so best to load up on some muscle mass NOW.

Be grateful for living in interesting times and prepare for a golden age.
Can't make plans for shit in the mean time but should be a good show.

By the time and even before, many people have had enough; I'll wait and see.

Honestly, I would not be too happy with that. I don't think that I could put away enough savings to live that long. If I lived that long, I would hope that I would be healthy through most of it and that I could work as long as possible. I have no desire to live in poverty.

If I'm able to get my business growing again and if the value of my home eventually goes back up to 2005-2006 levels, I might be ok. But my current assets would not be anywhere near enough.

Just health care costs alone may require having several million in savings.

Actually, there is one way besides slowing aging that we will be able to live forever. If we could upload our minds into virtual reality programs before we die. Then we could "download" into a new body when we are ready to live again in the real world (or someone could choose to continue existing in the virtual reality or "metaverse"). That all depends if it is possible to upload consciousness.
