Is the recent Batman trilogy cursed?

There were two very distinct tragedies that occurred with two of the three movies in this trilogy:
    - Heather Ledger tragically passing away before The Dark Knight was released
    - The tragic Aurora, CO shooting that killed 12 the day The Dark Knight Rises is released

Batman Begins, the first of this trilogy, was released on June 15, 2005. I tried to do a little research and see if there was any event that was directly tied to the movie, but I couldn't locate anything. The only thing that was newsworthy the same week of its release was that Michael Jackson was acquitted of the child molestation charges on June 13th. Does anyone know of anything that occurred directly related to Batman Begins?

"Curses", per se, no. But, things that attract negative things, yes. When I saw "cursed", i'm not talking about witchcraft or something performing some hoobiedoobie ritual.

I think by "cursed," he means that the Batman trilogy will be associated with real life tragedy.

Katie Holmes's acting is pretty tragic.

It is called COINCIDENCE, a word which apparently does not appear in the dictionaries of nut jobs and conspiracy theorists (and a few RJers).

I would tend to agree, but thought I'd throw it out there, no matter how silly some people apparently think the question is.

    Yes, I would agree icon_razz.gif

I can't remember the exact line in the movie, but I remember laughing out loud at one point after she said it.

I'm not in inclined to believe in curses, witches or Easter bunnies, so I say no.

Bad shit happens all the time. No one cares that massacres happen in Syria every day.

But if you choose to believe it is, then there is no convincing you otherwise.

It was Heath Ledger not Heather lol

I'm sure if you dig deep enough you can find something somewhere that happened when Batman Begins came out. Maybe someone was in a train wreck when it was out at the theaters or maybe a man was in the mountains and fell to his death etc...

I'm sorry but I just can't correlate the shooting to a specific Batman tragedy.

Some twisted and sick person understood what an ideal location would be to have massive amounts of people confined to a small space would be...
