And that would be why he's not really talking about the economy.

    http://thehill.com/polls/239377-the-hill-poll-majority-of-voters-blame-president-for-bad-economy

Two-thirds of likely voters say the weak economy is Washington’s fault, and more blame President Obama than anybody else, according to a new poll for The Hill.

It found that 66 percent believe paltry job growth and slow economic recovery is the result of bad policy. Thirty-four percent say Obama is the most to blame, followed by 23 percent who say Congress is the culprit. Twenty percent point the finger at Wall Street, and 18 percent cite former President George W. Bush.

The results highlight the reelection challenge Obama faces amid dissatisfaction with his first-term performance on the economy.

What does Canada have to do with this or are you saying that the US economy is bad because of Canada for some reason I am not really sure what you mean about Canada.

GL, you haven't been here long enough. The guy in Dallas has never articulated anything of substance. He is in the same league as the one in New Orleans who only uses emoticons. Not dealing with Rhodes scholars here. icon_lol.gif

There happens to be a difference between trying to ridicule someone's physical appearance, especially when it's false, versus ridiculing someone's continual forum behavior.

Obama's Bain ads are efficacious in particular swing states like Ohio and Pennsylvania, no doubt about that.

However, on a national scale, not so much. If he wants to win a second term (which I believe he does and he will), he needs to start showing ads about his vision for America a bit more.

I'd say their behavior is on the same level as yours and many of those that you support. You just find it lowly because you disagree with them.

The last time socalfitness addressed me directly, it was to recommend that I commit suicide. (He was obviously bullying me, as I've never given any indication that I'm suicidal.)

GordonLee90232 saidWhy are you all discussing everything except what the topic is about which is the big shift in the poll that shows that now the majority of the likely voters blame President Obama for the bad econmy?

Because people have always blamed the prez for a bad economy, throughout all the ups and downs in history. It's not news. If Romney were to win (when pigs fly) then he would be blamed too.

The truth is, Obama didn't cause the financial crisis. Sane people know that we're much better off, ever since he took over from Bush.icon_wink.gif

    From the same poll:

"Fifty-seven percent of voters said congressional Republicans have impeded the recovery with their policies, and only 30 percent overall believe the GOP has done the right things to boost the economy."

You should make a thread about it. I think it would provide a good talking point. Ya know.. Since only part of the poll was featured in this thread.

Blaming Obama for the seriously troubled American economy is ridiculous. He is not the only one to blame, an equal amount of the blame also has to be evenly distributed among members of Congress and the big banks and Wall Street. They are all to blame for this horrendous mess. icon_mad.gif

I'd agree with this but it shows his attempt to blame everything on Bush and Republicans is failing miserably.
