Yes, the amount of "Would You Date a Guy if..." threads seemed ridiculous. I thought I'd throw some out to see the responses I'd get.

Some of them are absurd, but serious. icon_confused.gif

Eau de toilette is stronger/lasts longer.

Personally I won't even speak to anyone who my nose detects as wearing anything higher than after shave.

No I would not, that would be a clear sign he is probably gay.

actually Perfume and cologne lasts longer than eau de toilette there is more oil based ratio in the former two.

Google Translate says the Eau de Toilette means "toilet water." icon_eek.gif Really? You are asking me if I would date someone who wears toilet water? I'm not sure why anyone would put toilet water on. But ewwwwww. WTF???

"Generally, the concentration is about 20-40% for perfume, 10% less for parfum, 20% less for eau de toilette, and cologne only contains between two and five percent aromatic oils."

I guess the real question is how you'd feel if you liked the guy but found out he's been wearing cheap Walgreen's bought cologne. Do you like someone more if he's wearing D&G? Do you like them less if he's wearing Olde Spice? I, for example, have been wearing Cool Water ever since I discovered it in Germany in the late 80s. Nowadays you can find it at Marshalls (which really is disconcerting) but I still like it and my friends consider it as sort of a signature. And to be honest, I don't like a different-cologne-a-day guy.

What's your favorite scent on a man btw?

I love when guys wear fragrances (just not too much), I don't have a favorite scent for a man because any scent can work for different people. But some nice classy cologne by D&C, YSL, or Burberry would be nice icon_smile.gif
