Got mine started early today since I’ve never been in one before. They said they were struggling a bit getting this store going, but the controversy has been great for business. I work out too hard to go real often, but I’ll try to get in there once in a while. NIce people.

I don’t do fried chicken very often, but I think I probably like Popeye’s better.

Good for Truitt. I like the guy. No nonsense businessman. However, I do prefer the grilled chicken rather than the fried.

I hadn't been there before so I didn't know what to get. It was OK, but I try to stay away from anything fried. Did stick around and chat for a few with the store manager.

I know a guy in the "total closet" that grew up in Arkansas and is very close friends with Huckabee. And he believes the same things. Amazing. He campaigned for him. PS. I ate at Chickfila long ago and I thought the food was crap anyway.

It wasn't great, but OK. It was real busy though and I never seen that one busy since they opened as there are a 160+ fast food and fast casual in the area. The controversy gave them a much needed boost according to the store manager.

I disagree with Huckabee and Chick-fil-a on this one.

They have a total right to have an opinion about gay marriage. But why go there at all?

Its a chicken place, and arguably a mediocre one.

    They should stick to business.

Second point is many of the stores are franchised and not owned by the company.

I didn't think of asking if its a company store or not. Polaris realty will ground lease to either. I will say that it wasn't as good as i thought it would be.

We're rank as the 11th most conservative county in the country so i expected a little more from them.

I think I'll go to Wendy's instead. They donate profits to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a group that tries to help people and make their lives better and not fund campaigns of hate.

Because he hates himself for being gay, and hates all other gay people as well. He might as well become an hero. He wouldn't be missed.

And really funny. I just got a sorta veiled threat over email from poster 'time4work' threatening to trace my IP address. He forgets that's pulled shit just like that before with me.

I'll just go to Sonic Burger.

From the Sonic Burger website about donations:

SONIC does not consider cash gifts to:

Organizations outside the state of Oklahoma
    Individuals
Private preschool, primary and secondary educational institutions
Dinners, luncheons or other forms of indirect support
    Private foundations
    Sporting events, including golf tournaments
    Health-related organizations
    Political parties or candidates
    Sectarian, denominational or religious causes/organizations/events
Special interest groups such as labor and veterans' organizations

Basically just eliminates any controversy. I can live with that.
