    NO, I don't mean "in bed"...dirty boys icon_razz.gif .

When I was a child, I never was really into rough housing all that much. Now days, you can't have me and my best bud in the same room for too long before we start beating eachother hehe.

At heart, I am a pacifist. It takes an extreme effort to get me angry let alone angry enough to get physical. But I have come to enjoy wrestling around with my frineds, and now I'm thinking about seeing if I can find some kick-boxing classes around.

So how many of you all enjoy a good rumble with friends? Do you like to rough house at all?

"Man...I might be gay but don't let it fool ya!" I always have to warn my friends of that when they try to start picking a fight with me. I played football for 14 years of my life...(I'm turning 22 next week) and even though I was young when playing, I was usually taller and more muscular than the other people on the team. Plus I'm VERY aggressive and competitive so it usually means that I take a few hits...then my craziness turns on. Lol. It's fun to throw a straight guy around and when I have him on the ground say "how does it feel to be held down by a homo?"

THINK IT IS A GUY THING TO WRASSLE WITH UR BI/ STR8/ GAY BUDS I do it with most my buds whether str8/ bi/ or gay its a male bonding moment for us, andicon_lol.gif helps allieviate tension...

I usually get hard but dont hide it, and some of my 'str8' friends took this as an opportunity to experiment or try new things.icon_biggrin.gificon_redface.gif

As teenagers, my friends and I used to play football (touch, not tackle), on the rooftops of this section of town where all the houses were the same size. The dangerous part wasn't playing football on the rooves, but evading the police when they got called.

In high school my best friend and I invented Super Future Danger Ball. It is played like two man football. Accept of running down a field, you had to climb up ladders, jump out of trees, climb over sharp obstacles all the while your opponent is trying to hit the ball out of your hands with a stick.

It is a wonder we don't have more scars.

Yeah, I have to admit I like roughhousing / wrestling with buds, always have ever since college, after I had lifted weights for a while. It is a bonding thing, for sure. When I lived elsewhere, I had a bud who was into it and we would fight and have tests of strength all the time. We were sane about it, but both of us are very competitive, so sometimes the matches would go on for a long, long time.

I love it. Gotta know the fellow and trust him not to seriously hurt me...but I'm pretty strong, and can usually hold my own. Love wrestling in the pool. Much more difficult...and a lot softer landings.
But in general, I'm always up for a good rumble, it's stress relieving, good exercise, and a lot of fun.

Growing up, I'd rough house with my brother and cousins all the time. In college, I can't remember a time when my roommates and I would get into a headlock situation. I try to take the BF down every now and then when he's not looking. LOL!

Rough housing is one of the best sexual aphrodisiacs. And I would rough house with any of the guys above me.

As a few posters have already said, I think it's definately a guy thing... can you put a check next to the "Got Testostorone?" field? Then you probably enjoy a good rough-housing every now and then.

Sure, it's not for everyone, but I know I enjoy it! My bestfriend and I used to spar and wrestle all the time, hell it was how we spent the down times when we had nothing else to do. Haven't seen him in 6 years, but since then, we've both joined our highschool wrestling teams, and now I don't know about him, but I'm looking into joining an MMA gym.

    Work hard, PLAY HARDER icon_twisted.gif

Our homes look like catalog shots for REI or LLBean. Sporting goods and stuff just scattered EVERYWHERE.

And yes, we roughhouse quite a bit; but its never in anger.

If you aren't going full bore, balls to the wall, you ain't having fun yet. icon_lol.gif

Some of my buddies have mats and we go wrestle each other - in our underwear. It gets intense - you really work up a sweat - what a workout - and yes, I don't wear anything I don't want torn off of me!

I have not wrestled with friends since I was a young teen. Now I have tickle fights with my partner, and that is way more fun.

woo-hoo! i grew up roughhousing with my 2 older brothers. i learned to fight scrappy since i hadn't had my growth spurt (or upper body strength for that matter) yet.

occasionally i'll still roughhouse with my oldest sibling, especially around football season. if i'm not careful, he'll take me down with a tackle. although last weekend, i was able to repeatedly throttle him to the floor, it was hysterical. he hadn't realized i've gotten stronger since last year, LOL.

Roughhousing is my thing.......grew up with two brothers and lots of male cousins........Our moms didn't like that we broke things by accident.....that awful sound of a window shattering or a broken door......even hitting each other and wrestling could erupt at any time.

Nowdays, I kid around with freinds in a physical way, and we don't ususally break things by accident.

The only problem I have found is with gay men. There are a lot of sensitive types who can't take it, don't know how to respond, don't understand the humor, and generally get bitchy and vindictive. Too bad, since being able to go with the flow tells me a lot about the person and wheather they can be friendly.
