Okay, they don't have the best of bodies BUT I realize that I'm turned on by funny guys who don't give a shit and are completely confident in themselves, gay or straight! This put a smile on my face to realize that there is goodness and fun in the world! bahahaha The good part starts from about the 3:00 for the first and 1:00 for the second. When they started dancing to starship by Nicki Minaj, my heart melts. bahahaha The first part has the hotter guys, the second part has funnier dance. lol

Since I saw the word Auckland on a sign, I presume this is New Zealand, and the dancers are Maori (Maoris are frequently tattooed). There appeared to be gay elements to their dancing, but they seemed to be accepted by the audience.

There is no "gay elements" to their dancing? What exactly is a "gay" dancing? Do all gay guys dance like that?? Do all straight guys dance hip-hop or do flips? Because they act funny and don't act like baboon idiots?? I have yet to witness gay men being as confident as they are. If there is a gay guy like them, I'd marry that guy. lol icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

I'm not being uptight about it, what I am trying to get is some of the "gay dance moves" are actually invented by choreographers of female artists like Beyonce, Shakira, Niki Minaj, etc catered to the male audience by popping their booties, swish hand gestures, etc. Those moves are invented FOR female artists by professional dancers who may or may not be gay.
Gay by definition means, men who are attracted to other men. There is nothing "gay" about these dance moves, you following me?
Some of the dance moves are also copied by some gay men in dance clubs and made it "their own moves". I'm sure 99.999% of gay men don't dance like that and if they do, they are just doing it for fun.
So, next time if someone screams, that's gay dance move or this is gay or that is gay, I really question what does it really mean, or they even know the origin of the word or origin of the object that they deem as "gay".

Hahaha awesome. I only watched the first video but it was very entertaining and nothing like the sivas that schools were performing back when I was a teen in the 90s. Siva is the Samoan word for dance. These guys integrated hip-hop, bali, Salsa and Hawaiian dancing lol. Not very traditional but very creative and entertaining.

OMG these mofos did not bust out the cotton eye joe LOL awesome. I don't know if these dudes are performing in New Zealand but in the first video when the dude introduces the group, he's speaking in Samoan. The doesn't have a British accent so he's prob from American Samoa and not Samoa.

As far as there being a gay element to their dance, there is a silly factor. In samoan dances, the males often provide strength and levity. The guys are supposed to be jackasses kind of. It's for the entertainment of the crowd. The females bring beauty and their part is much more formal. The girls don't express much emotion. They do their dance and smile. That's about it... They don't jump around all loose and crazy trying to amp up the crowd. That's for the guys to do.
