so i have spent the last 6 months trying to gain as much muscle as possible, i went from 232 at 14% to 248 at 16%, HEAVY lifting everyday, and light cardio every morning. and over the next six to eight weeks i will lose 18lbs of bf and a little muscle leaving me at 230 and 10% I WANT MY ABS BACK AAHHH!!!!

the war has begun, cal defecit, low carb, high intesity circuits, muay thai 5 x a week x 2 hrs, cardio every morning and a few other things...

this is an absolutely pointless post as it stands but i will be posting updates maybe weekly maybe fortnightly. with pics for proof!

wish me luck.

What will you do for cardio for weightloss? Treadmill? HIIT? How long do you do cardio for?

First of all, ignore my directness because that's the only way I know how to talk. and second forgive me for my ignorance, but when you said you spent the last six months putting on muscles, where are the muscles you are talking about?

You arms are not bulging with muscles for someone who has been doing some heavy lifting. For heavy lifters, shouldn't you see some definitions? your arms look soft and jiggly, and so is your chest. they are actually "hanging down" instead of tight and wide like some heavy lifters' chest and arms would be.

I don't mean to be rude, but I am honestly curious and want to know. Anyway, best of luck to your cutting, and honestly though, what you just need is cardio to bring down that body fat around your waist (as you have already pointed out), if you lose that layer of fat, the muscles will "pop out"

that describes cutting.

and its just the way i turn out, anything above 12-14% bf and i look HUGE. just the way my body is. i had to be ok with that to bulk at all. its generally about inches rather than definition, it would defaet the object trying to get defined and gain MAXIMUM muscle mass at the same time.

dont apologise for your directness honestly is the best policiy. oh and the chest is gynocomastia from MASSIVE doses of steroids a few years ago, and the sudden ceasation thereof due to braking my back. the lower my bf gets the less prevalent the gyno.

i try and mix it up as much as possible with cardio, about an hour a day generally in the morning, but usually end up going to muay thai classes too, just love the sport. anything that gets your heart rate high will work. HIIT is another favourite too, love swimming at the moment and its really tough, so i like the challenge of getting good at that for now.

Cutting sucks, because food is awesome.

But I'm in a cutting phase right now anyway, and feel your pain.

It'll go better once I'm back "home" in Miami (next month). I don't drink nearly as much there, because there's other things to do. Here the only thing to do is drink.

As for the rest, my diet and exercise is on point.

haha that was the main reason for me quitting drink, i show bf waaaay higher than it actually is, water? maybe. but the booze certainly made an uphill struggle, a mountain climb.

where are you now that is so dull? alcoholism is rife in birmingham....just saying
