They're ok as clowns go, but they're still clowns. Evil.

You mean those guys who's job it is to distract a raging 2000 pound animal that's trying to pound a fallen cowboy into a pulp (all in good fun, of course) ??? And then do a little stand-up routine in the slow times? Otherwise known as "bull wrestlers?"

I'd call them ballsy guys.

lol with mindgarden. would I rather ride for 8 secs x 5 rounds or get squished like a bug on a regular basis. A clown has a face only a bull could love.

Rodeo Clowns have a big fuckin set of solid brass ones. Don't let anyone tell you different.

I rode some in HS.

I was an Eagle Scout, An Army Ranger, and I belong to the Explorers Club. I have been in Combat. I have found myself hanging upside down 500 feet above a bed of rocks when the pitons went. I had an incredibly mis spent youth. I have had a psycho put a gun to my head. I have had more knives pulled on me than I can count. I have regularly been in places that scare most people to death - on five continents.

I gotta tell you I don't know if I could do what those guys do on a regular basis.

They are incredibly brave lifesavers who put it on the line every time they step into the ring.

They don't really call them rodeo clowns much anymore. They are more often referred to as bull fighters. At least in the PBR, they have their own competition too.
