I've used them twice. First time I was having sex and the guy was behind me and all of a sudden he sticks this cloth that smells like acetone in my face and I'm all "WTF IS THIS?" and he says "It's just gonna give you a little rush." I didn't get a rush cause I had a total freak-out.
Second time, with the same guy, I inhaled willingly and the feeling was kind of like the choking game back in grade 9....
    what was your experience?
    I didn't like it.
    Are poppers bad for you?

"The Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy reports that there is little evidence of significant hazard associated with inhalation of alkyl nitrites.[5] A study and ranking of drugs for harmfulness devised by British-government advisers and based upon scientific evidence of harm to both individuals and society showed that poppers pose little potential harm to individuals or to society when compared to other recreational drugs including alcohol and tobacco.[7] A 1983 U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission investigation Briefing Package stated that "Available injury data did not indicate a significant risk of personal injury or illness from room odorizer abuse."[citation needed]

Common side-effects of popper use include headaches,[21] and in some cases temporary erectile problems. Other risks include burns if spilled on skin."

It gives you really stinky breath

and, for god's sake, becareful not to spill any in your eyes.

If you can time the rush to coincide with an orgasm, it will make the orgasm unbelievably better....and longer.

It was common in the gay community until the early years of the AIDS epidemic, when it became suspected ast the cause of AIDS. We know now that that is not true.

Poppers seem more popular with bottoms than tops in my experience. They always give me performance problems so I stay away from them... They make me feel very light-headed and dizzy. Almost like a weird, intense feeling of being drink that goes away pretty fast. If that sounds good to you then you might want to try it - you probably wont get addicted or anything.

I didn't like poppers. When I topped I totally lost my hard on.

I understand meth takes away the failing hard-on problem - but it has other consequenses. Exstacy, however, can make sex feel much, much better.

used it one time, it was fine was exactly how I thought it would be. Kind of a rush, faster heart beat, things did relax, but so did his hard-on so that was no fun.
Wouldn't spend money on them myself.

at that point everything stops right there. My reaction would have been the same, a WTF followed by a punch to the face. but no never tried poppers and don't think I would want too.

    I haven't seen him since.
I was surprised he even used poppers. He was so intellectual and spiritual.

True, but I also found it was very difficult to cum and you often also need to take Viagra to make sure you keep an erection!

I only tried poppers recently. It's ok but didn't do that much for me. I've been with a few guys who needed them in order to get fucked though.
