Nearly everyone on this site has said I am "cute" and there are others on this site that people categorize as "sexy". I don't know if people say "cute" to be like "you look pretty good, but not my taste or not too good enough" as opposed to being "sexy" which seems to fulfill their picture for a guy they are interested in.

However, when it comes to dating which would you prefer? Also, what makes someone cute and not sexy and vice versa?

Fuck dating. I only hang out with friends...some with benefits, and some without.

I apply the word "cute" with no sexual intention. The word "sexy" has it's own definition built-in.

That said, if I wanna have sexy time with someone, being cute is a plus, but being sexy is a must.

I like cute. To me, cute is somebody who is adorable with their characheristics such as conversations, looks, values and personalities; and because of this you want/could to take them everywhere you go. Someone who is just sexy means that they look so good but doesn't mean that you care much for 'em.

I use cute to mean many different things. If I use it to refer to a guy, I'm usually saying he has an attractive face, although his face may or may not appeal to me. When I use the term sexy, it means that I find a guy sexually appealing. That involves many factors, including overall physical attractiveness and personality.

cute = not hot enough to hook up so blah, I'll give you a nice compliment to boost your ego

I read that somewhere, don't remember where. icon_lol.gif

imo... "Cute" means that they are pleasant to "look at" online; whereas, "Sexy" means they would be pleasant to "look at" (if not more) in person! icon_twisted.gif

I get called cute. It gets tiring but I find that I get annoyed when someone calls me sexy. The only times someone calls me sexy is when they want their dick in my ass.

If someone calls me sexy, it just sends the wrong feeling down my spine. I don't find it a part of who I am to be sexy. I guess I'm just so used to being that cute guy who nobody thinks of in a sexual way but in a "aw, your like my little bro!" sort of way.

Both mean the same thing for me.

If I call you cute, I think you're sexy. If I call you sexy, I think you're cute.

The meaning behind It depends on the individual using the adjective.

I would interpret cute as referencing to "cute as a baby" or "babyface" whereas sexy has more of a mature undertone and is referencing to the word already included in it.
