I may test drive one soon just for shits and giggles, but I have no intention of getting caught up in monthly payments. I only pay cash for cars, and this is not a car I'm ready to pay cash for.

Fine oversteer shot don't you think? One can "hang the tail out."

Top Gear tested it and it's huge fun in the straights but keeps breaking its rear end loose in the turns. WAY over priced but if you can afford this car, you don't care. It's for attention grabbing, hottie in the passenger seat, up front spot at valet parking. Make sure you leave all the electronic nannies on so you don't make a fool of yourself. Even "The Stig" spun it out on the track!

It's not practical in the U.S. Most Americans owning one of these wouldn't know how to drive them and would take unnecessary risks with their lives and the lives of others on the road. Total overkill, and way too small.

Eh, its a car built to purpose, which is not casual driving

Exactly, this car is an exotic. Exotic translates to impractical, not necessarily easy to drive and just illogical to own. But that's what makes it so ownable by the rich.

I wish Mercedes had decided to stick with the SLR just for styling alone. I do like the SLS' homage to the original 300SL, but the styling just looks a bit dull. It's much better in convertible form. I will say, though, that I do like the fact that the SLS looks like nothing else on the road…well, except for having a very Viper-ish profile.

And the super-long hood design just looks frightening to drive. I wish MB would build a direct R8/NSX competitor. The green light was given to a smaller SLC, which will hopefully be just that.

That car is one of the sexiest on the road in my opinion. The engine is flawless, I've spend many hours fapping to YouTube videos of the exhaust haha jk.
Mercedes have finally got their quality control back up to scratch, so this will be built like a brick shit house. Except a sexy "kathunk" when you shut the doors lol.
