GordonLee90232 saidWell if the web site was not in the USA then I guess it is OK but if it is in the USA then I would not support the web site being shut down because we have the freedom of speech and that is supposed to protect the unpopular speech so shutting it down is not the way to deal with it.

Why would it be okay in a foreign country. Computer hacking is illegal in both New Zealand (the location of the website) and the U.S. That is the crime, not freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is something protecting you from the government violating your rights.

Websites in the USA get hacked and shutdown all the time. This is not a government depriving its citizen from voicing their own point of view, it is a group of individuals with an agenda. Hacking and DOS attacks are illegal in New Zealand just like they are in the USA so I have no idea what you are talking about.

Yeah for the San Francisco group Train for demanding t he removal of the song Marry Me too. It's great to see society embracing equal rights for all!

They're free to voice their opinion, but that also means everyone is free to scrutinize and ridicule them accordingly if their opinion is riddled with hypocrisy and is ridiculous. Not everyone's opinion is valid.
