Hello everyone. I have recently decided to try something new. I am really interested in bodybuilding. I love the guys who do it and want to try it as well. I am 5'2" and 189 lbs. I was at 291 a year and a half ago and now want to have some muscle on me. I currently work out everyday for at least 2-3 hours. I mainly just do some cardio, run and a little bit of machine arm weights. I really don't know where to start. Some of the guys on the the free weights scare me. I want to have muscle but not too much where I have no neck or can no longer put down my arms. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Don't be afraid of the free weights. Start out with light weight, and focus on proper form. And get this book..

The funny thing is that I always buy body building books. I just mainly like to look at the pictures but some have some really good information. I guess I just don't know where to start.
