2 Outstanding University of Nebraska Wrestlers Appear on Gay Porn Site
Aug 11, 2008 2:47 PM GMT
University of Nebraska wrestlers appear on the gay porn site, Fratmen.tv. Paul Donahoe, is a 125-pound national champion wrestler; his teammate, 133-pound Kenny Jordan, is a two-time state wrestling champion in the state of Illinois and also a national junior college 133-pound wrestling champion.

Two wrestlers caught up in a gay porn scandal. Are you surprised?

I think the photos are HOT!

I'm a little surprised if they are from the U of Nebraska... I'm sure that will be the talk as school gets started in Lincoln. Interesting.

I loved the responses on that article though. Most of the answers were the 'So what?!' type, and they outnumber the homophobes.

Because really, so what? Porn doesn't affect their athletic abilities.

I should admit...
Just this past week I saw some of Donahoe's photo's on another site and thought, Damn! He's a hottie and looks even better naked! LOL. So kinda funny to find he is a "regular" guy, so to speak.

They got "caught", let's face it, plenty of college age guys (and girls) are doing things on-line that mom and pop wouldn't approve of...

But damn in my day, (lol) you could only imagine what a guy might look like naked...

Now, I think, how "wow" would it be to suddenly come across these photos and videos of a college bud or just the college athlete you've been secretly lusting over - or even if he is just a friend and then there's Paul jackin' off on video and nicely hung for a little guy! Times have changed, yes they have...
Aug 11, 2008 5:57 PM GMT
Who freaking cares. I don't see how this would affect these guys' wrestling careers.
Aug 11, 2008 7:31 PM GMT
No one probably would have ever said a word if the site was straight. These guys were actually smart if this is how they wanted to make some extra money. Gay porn even if you are doing solo's always pays better then straight.
Aug 11, 2008 7:34 PM GMT
Haha yeah it does but shiet, I'd hate to know that the whole freaking campus is watching me beat me my meat and cumming. I mean, that's something a very select few guys have had the privilege to see, and there's no way I'd ever consider doing it.

I mean, these guys get what, a few grand max? To me, it's just not worth it...

At their age that may be a lot of money to them and It's quick cash. More then likely they don't care who see's them. I'm sure they had to evaluate getting caught by someone who knows them personally. As far as the campus all watching it they sort of have the last laugh in that area. What "alleged" straight guy is going to admit he watched another student jerk off on line? So probably only most of the females will admit it and they'd probably praise the two and tease them about getting a private showing.

Haven't seen the vids but the condensed version based on photos is ... Nice tight smooth bodies, shaved and trimmed nads and pubes. Certain angles suggest well endowed if thats your thing. Hot pics. Standard solo jack off porn. Delivers what it's suppose to

Yeah, a couple grand is a lot of money to me as well, but that's just a huge thing to do. I mean, posing for play girl or some other kind of gay mag like MEN is different; but for me, the act of self gratification is quite personal, and I wouldn't be down with people I knew directly seeing me do that.

Who knows, maybe I'm just old fashioned. But that then begs the question, who caught these guys? In order to see clear pics, you've gotta be a member, and whoever caught them is probably gay themselves so I don't see what the biggie is.

Exactly what I was thinking... and really, who DOES care? This is such an unimportant issue in the grand scheme of things. The Olympics are going on... the Russians just went toe-to-toe with Georgia in an awful power-play... and Hillary's people just got exposed for some nasty mudslingng they were planning. This is a complete non-issue.

The scandal is that there's a "morality clause" in the NCAA contract. Same as there is for most national level sports, and for most jobs involving schools. Basically, it lets them fire you/kick you from the league for anything like say... porn.

Is it really fucking stupid that as a society we still have this "oh noes, naked=evil!" mentality? Yes.

Was it also really fucking stupid of them not to read the fucking contract and then go do something like this? Yeah, it was really fucking stupid.

So, I feel bad for them in that society sucks balls. I don't feel bad for them in that they were idiots.

alright as much crap i might get about this for one i want to say the guys are hot, two just because it is frat guys, doesnt mean they are gay (i could only dream) because they did solo work.

now the crap i might get stuff for but i am just posting what i researched.

"The issue here is that they are student athletes and as student athletes they have a different code of conduct than the general student population. The sorority girl who poses naked isn’t a respresentative of the University. Athletes are. Not saying it’s fair and not saying I agree with it. But every athlete is aware of it and if you choose to violate the agreement you made with the university…….you’re off the team".

Okay so i guess i agree but i do think its unfair, I mean it isnt going to hurt anyone, and hey it might bring more spectators to the sport, regardless I feel bad for the guys in a way, cause they are really hot, lol.

It's really not an extreme code of conduct. There is an article in the Atlanta paper today about a star recruit for the Sooner's football team who did a short "typical thug rap" that was recorded on camera phone, but then passed through YouTube. He was kicked off.

What is kicking people off of teams for "bad conduct" supposed to teach young people?

They're college dudes and probably thought nothing of it. And, there are 'straight' guys who like to be watched. With that said though...I have seen segments on CNN about people getting fired from their jobs over My Space photos...some teachers appeared in "racy" my space photos and lost their jobs. I'm sure there will be some kind of consequences for these guys imposed by the university. And, the vids will be around well beyond the time the guys are out of school, and I'm sure they may surface in background screenings by potential employers. They're young...weren't thinking past tomorrow, and we can see their hot bods...but they may experience fall-out from their choice.

This is a bit of a tangent, but you really have to wonder what politics are going to be like in 10 or 15 years when all these teens who post their naked pics online or pose for these sites run for public office and their rivals find and reveal them. I'm sure the first few this happens to will have to step down, but there's going to come a time when this is going to be so pervasive that people are going to be, "So what? We all did it." I hope it happens sooner than later.

You can bet that if these two were star players for Nebraska FOOTBALL that this scandal would have been buried. I am aware of a star football player who was drunk and tried to get into the dorms. He assaulted a TA and ran from police. He got off scott free and now has an even bigger dorm room. Granted it wasn't porn, so I guess assaulting someone doesn't hurt anyone or ruin the school's reputation either. It is at times like this that I am ashamed of Nebraska.

Actually, no. As anyone who lives in Nebraska can testify, the state is all about NEBRASKA FOOTBALL! The state practically stops on a game day. I was saying that gay or straight, if they were football athletes, this would not have seen the light of day. As was the case of the footballer I referenced. I graduated a year ago from UNL. I was told that Lincoln, Nebraska has one of the largest gay community (percentagewise) in the United States, a large number of the faculty is either gay friendly or gay and out, and the university iself is very gay friendly.

This doesn't surprise me. I just wish I had been out while I was in college there. I knew one of the UNL wrestlers and when we talked in the locker room once, he suddenly dropped his towel (very unexpected) while facing me, hiked his foot up on the bench, and starts toweling off his rather large endowment with his pelvis pushed out toward me. I got very flustered (he was SO much younger than me and SO hot) and had to leave in a hurry. I often wonder what would have happened if I had been out to myself and the world when this happened.

I agree, it's entirely ridiculous that they were terminated from the team for this. Side jobs at McDonald's don't matter, why should porn? I understand that the school may not want its wrestling program associated with something some may consider morally reprehensible, but they wouldn't fire a wrestler who volunteered at an abortion clinic. It's a shame that they're getting such a hard time about it, and that everyone and their mother now knows that they did this, who they are, where they are, etc.

Mmmm hm. Mike hit this on the head. I made the mistake of turning my hair super bright red during the football season once, and working at the university I should have really known better.

Anyway, our city is dead on gameday. Everyone, and I mean *EVERYONE* is focused on the game in one way or another. Either you're watching it, or you're trying really hard to ignore it. Everyone wears red, white, and black. It's scary.

Our football team gets away with anything and everything. I know, I've been feeding their asses all summer. It's well known that the vast majority of them are given passes in class without doing the work, while a handful on the team make the rest look good by actually doing what they should be doing in college.

I can back Mike on the fact that, had these two been on the football team, we'd have never known.

NCAA athletes on scholarship are are not allowed to use their pictures for "commercial" purposes. So it's not like they were working at McDonald's or Sonic. It's a violation and I doubt if they have eligibility at another NCAA school without sitting out one or two years.

They may want to enter porn...they know the guidelines student athletes have to follow...and judging from the pics...they will have a good, profitable career in porn. Controversy sells, and this apparently caused a stir so studios probably would like to sign them asap to cash in on the instant buzz around them.

Aug 13, 2008 4:02 PM GMT
I did find this part of the Sports Illustrated article interested:

Jordan and Donahoe have had a series of run-ins with the law in Lincoln. Jordan has paid fines for possessing or consuming alcohol as a minor, trespassing and assault, and Donahoe for maintaining a disorderly house and having an open alcohol container.

But show your willy on a gay porn site and that's it! You're OUTTA THERE!

NCAA sanctioned athletes have rules they have to live by, and one of them that has been around for a very long time is that they are not allowed to use their likeness to promote a product without the expressed permission of the NCAA. I had a college friend back at ASU who was the the kicker on the football team and they were headed to The Rose Bowl. He got signed with the Ford Agency in New York and shot a LUOMO VOGUE layout with Bruce Weber during the previous summer. He lost his NCAA eligibility when that issue hit the stands in November and this all came to light. So I don't think it's so much that it was a gay porn site (though I am certain that didn't exactly help their case), but rather that it was a case of the NCAA enforcing this rule.

No, I agree - they broke a rule and so should suffer the consequences. That said, it seems interesting they could do things that were flat out illegal and suffer no consequences. And I have to wonder, if it had been a straight porn site, what would have happened then?

Well, if colleges had to disqualify every athlete who was busted for underage drinking or disorderly conduct, they would lose much of the team. I tend to think disorderly conduct and underage drinking among college kids is not quite on the same level as masterbating on camera for profit on a gay porn site (or a straight porn site for that matter).

I think disorderly conduct is worse than wanking on some poxy gay web site. I mean who gets harmed from a bit of spanking the monkey. Whereas drunk people get up to all sorts of crimes.

Oh, and this intrigued me from one of the posters on this thread:

Our football team gets away with anything and everything. I know, I've been feeding their asses all summer.

What does this mean?

The NCAA won't allow them to use their pictures for profit. College athletes can't appear in say a Nike ad or anything like that. Nike makes the deals with the Universities directly. Collecting a grand for wanking off on camera is using their picture/image in a commercial way, which is a NCAA no-no. As crazy as the NCAA is, they actually could find Nebraska not in compliance because of a "violation" like this. Crazy...yes. Coaches are not allowed to buy recruits a cup of coffee...but that's just how it is. These dudes knew the rules...probably had to sign a code of conduct. They got caught. End of story.

The NCAA has a double standard and look like hypocrites. Let's look at Reggie Bush:

During an interview with Yahoo! Sports on Aug. 16, Michael Michaels talked with unusual calm and a sense of forgiveness toward Reggie Bush, the standout running back from USC, who received a $26.3 million guaranteed contract from the New Orleans Saints in July.

Bush walked away from New Era after:

• Michaels bought a house in which Bush's family lived rent free for a year, according to sources;

• New Era advanced him approximately $13,000 for a car, sources said;

• And Michaels paid for the running back to stay at a pair of posh hotels during March 2005, according to documents obtained by Yahoo! Sports.

Precisely. My point is that these guys were not football players or cheerleaders. True, they had previous run-ins with the law, and weren't angels but this kind of rule is not applied universally to all.

The Reggie Bush thing is "sources said, sources said." The NCAA requires evidence. These guys broke a rule NCAA athletes know about. When I was in college, a football player was suspended for appearing in a newspaper add promoting a CHARITY calendar. It's a rule, and the NCAA is very strict.

Holy crap the one guy is hot!

We ALL know how certain sport get the rules bent and broken for them... and this is seen mostly in football

I've seen it first hand when I was in school
and it happens even now
I had buddies of mine who played football in college break rules all the time and the coaches would look the other way

These two wrestlers had the unfortunate luck of it getting out into the media first

AND.... even worse they broke an unwritten law in sports

Well, Donahoe is cute at least.

But, back to reality...don't they have anything better to do with their lives? Are they still in school? If so, they need to either hit the mats or the books - not a bed in some porn studio. What a waste. I'd rather see them as a CEO than as a porn monkey. Now, the chances of that happening are limited. I feel sorry for them.

Can only hope he'll still have career chances to be "in the money" ...and in a good way.

So as someone who has had experiences with this (well, not the porn aspect, but the college athletics aspect)...

You can't make money off of yourself while you're an athlete in college. Only the school/NCAA can. Which I find utterly ridiculous. Especially given the fact that a lot of the athletes not in the money making sports (so anyone not in football or basketball) go to school on less than a full scholarship or no scholarship at all. I started out as a non-scholarship athlete, and eventually earned my meager scholarship (less than half)... all I had to do was become an All-American and final in an International meet. (I'm not blaming coaches for not having a full scholarship when i believed I deserved it, they dont have the budget of scholarships to give lots of people full rides and they have to spread it aorund, which I totally understand.) I blame the fact that men's teams that are not football or basketball get 9.9 scholarships, while most every person on a 100+ football team has a full ride. And most of the other athletesare extremely gifted people not only athletically, but academically! Where as football players from my school got full scholarships (and probably more from boosters) so they could go out and rape, get arrested, and make generally dumb decisions (now, I'm not saying they all do it, I'm just giving some examples)

Anyway, they should have known that the school was going to find out. Its porn after all, it was bound to be found, especially with the fact that these two were exceptional wrestlers. They also should have known that you cant use your image or its likeness to profit until your out of college (or not an athlete). However, I love that they did it! Breaking stereotypes about people, regardless of whether or not they are gay.

I'm sorry they go dismissed from the team, and I hope they finish their studies. Though I'm sure the money from doing porn is tempting.

they're only limited if they're not creative within the context of their lives. we make the bed in which we wrestle, and we have to walk the path we've chosen. as an adult entertainer i take issue with people feeling sorry for people who have done porn or whatever. properly, ahem, "coached," they can do quite well. what they need now is good management. they can't undo their choice to do the pornography, but they CAN capitalize on it in various ways (i'd be willing to be the editor of THAT book: there are far too few same-sex issues being discussed in sports).

Hmmm I'm sure guys they wrestle will find out and possibly be uncomfortable about wrestling them or not... Sad eyes... Obviously these pics were not by some amateur. Therefore I doubt they did it for free. Perhaps they are in the market for a career change. I'm sure nude modeling pays well.
