You can't exercise yourself into having abs. It's mostly diet, although the people who sell all this ab equipment would just as soon you not know that.

My abs are decent, but I suspect they aren't really big enough to be that noticeable. If you have low body fat, abs are easy to show. So ditto to eating correctly.

Exercise is a main component in strong abs. Even when i gained 10lbs in the winter mine were still visible. Abs are one of the few muscle you can exercise every time you workout. I was doing hanging raises and roman chair crunches. Now i'm doing a couple yoga core exercises. You have to keep switching it up. I learned that one too late. You'll notice i have a few unevens there....aaahhh
Now i'm using my left hand to do more... like splitting wood, using a hammer, etc. it does make a difference and things are changing.

Having said all that... my abs do look a lot better when i get myself down to 8.5%. Cycling brings the body fat down quick for me.... hope that helps.

    I disagree....
THIS guy can CLEARLY prove my point!

Holy crap that's a big picture.

Umm... Outside of olympic athletes, I don't know of anyone else who does that kind of cardio for 12 hours a day.

Who said Abs need to be perfectly aligned? Mine aren't and I think they look fine.

In answer to the question being skinny helps but so do Roman Chair lifts. I do mine slowly and they seem to help. I also do sit ups and crunches too.

I do abs 3x per week for about 10 minutes each time. It's more than enough. Having abs is really all about diet and getting yourself down to single-digit body fat percentages.

Cut out alcohol! You can have a white liquor once a week.

    I don't always follow this.

    Like last night.

I like my abs too, but Chik Fil A is an enemy to gay people as a whole, not just their abs.icon_rolleyes.gif
