I might be relocating to the Fort Worth, TX area for a job. Any suggestions / comments about the area? Good areas to live? etc?

    Thanks

IMHO, like any other larger-ish city, downtown Fort Worth is a bit densely packed, so it depends on the kind of surroundings you'd like to have. The DFW area is full of smaller cities and towns which would be good for you to look into if you don't much mind a commute to work and/or school.

Hey, Gordon, have you ever traveled more than 10 or 15 miles from the ocean, because I know you like public transportation but have you ever gotten on a plane and seen Ft. Worth, if not you should visit, they have barbecue and stockyards and art museums and water gardens and all kinds of fun things, even though you might have to rent a car to get around though because the public transportation there isn't too good.

Do I really have time for this? No. Am I having a good time? Yes.

Public transportation in Texas isn't all that great regardless what city or suburb you are in.
