    Drink for Marriage Equality on National Starbucks Appreciation Day


    "In an effort to heighten awareness for all companies and nonprofits contributing to the fight for marriage equality, Equally Wed has decided to rename August 7 as National Marriage Equality Day. This change received direct encouragement from Starbucks Corporate Headquarters who wanted other equality-minded companies and organizations to share in the

    I don't even like coffee, but I'm gonna still sip on something there to support marriage equality!icon_biggrin.gif It's time for us to strike back at Chick-fil-a!

    Edit: There's actually no Starbucks in my town, aside from the one inside Target. I guess that one will have to do.

    I don't do caffeine and the smoothies suck there but I'll go grab me a strawberry smoothie.

    I think this is a good move. It shows that we will pay to protest our rights and our money will support pro-gay organizations. It's basically what Chick-fil-a is doing with appreciation day but on the pro-gay side. Also, no harm done; we're just enjoying their drinks as we give them money some of which will be used to donate towards the fight for our rights.

    Nice to see Nike on there as I just spent a shit load of money on them at Foot Locker.
