I cant seem to turn on NBC without coming in on a damn volleyball game, every channel any time. Is anyone else having trouble with this? I know that there are lots of other sports but cant seem to find them.

NBC coverage is crap, it's all cut and paste, nothing is live
look for BBC or CTV online streaming

This is a false statement. The did a cover story on Oscar Pistorius and several other athletes from around the world. They just cover the best.

Volleyball is a great sport to watch and if you would wait a bit and watch more of NBC's coverage you would know they covered more. So chill out man.

I have been told that the BBC and NBColympics.com offer better coverage than the NBC television

NBCOlympics.com has been amazing (at least for me with gymnastics). It is infinitely better than any of that crap NBC has aired on TV.

CTV and BBC are other good options, too. Eurovision has been rather iffy.

Here in Spain, I am watching EuroSports. They have full coverage starting at 9 30 until well past midnight and it is almost all live. It is fairly good but I am getting sick of the same bloody commercials although I have to admit, they are spectacular.

Yes NBC has ruined it for USA. You missed the best bits and it ruined the opening ceremony storyline.

Course the BBC is best, it's the home country official
    Broadcaster silly

Wanted to find out if the 4 rowing finals were going to be televised. Checked the TV schedule at NBC Olympics website and it said all of them would be on 3:45-4:45. They only show one race. WTF?!?

Here's hoping ESPN gets the next Olympics.

the BBC coverage has been amazing... really first rate.

In the swimming and athletics it has the first interviews with the American winners as they said that NBC weren't recording... Amazing negligence.

Go to the NBC website. No other US network could handle it better.icon_idea.gif

    They also couldn't afford toicon_idea.gif

I think that NBC should give it up and let some other network like ESPN (who does sports) handle it. They have the staff and the technology.

Yep, I'm super biased coz I live here but I think the BBC has been outstanding. There was a whole channel available JUST to keep track of the Hammer event tonight icon_smile.gif

BBC has been unreal, however it is always of a massively high standard with multiple channels dedicated to individual sports EVERY Olympics, not just the home olympics.
